Good puzzle, but, as others have said, I also didn’t need the stairs !

As some others, I didn't need the stairs at the end. Apart from that, it was a nice puzzle. I enjoyed it!

Neat puzzle! Altough I'm not sure if I solved it the intended way, since I did not have to activate the stairs. Thumbs up :)

@Decot It IS an OR gate. It is marked as if it is an AND gate. :)
Decot2501 25 Aug, 2017 @ 8:07pm
That's an AND gate, not an OR gate.

It bugs me when out of context dialogue from the game gets thrown in but other than those 2 things it was a good map.

excellent work as always

Actually you don't need to press the button at the final stage, as I just took the green cube with me before entering the orange portal. However, it's still a masterpiece!

BEST JOB. EXCELLENT.

Very clever map (as usual).

@Light Warrior: 1. The color of the cubes is better for the player to know where it cube came from. It's a new feature BEE2.4
2. Inaccurate throwing is a normal feature in the whole PORTAL 2 game. Depending on where you step on faith plate, it may have small variances in the angles. This is most evident when you need to hit the portal.
3. For this concept (ON / OFF Portalgun) it is a necessity. Portalgun must be returned to its original state. Otherwise it would not work properly on the next map in the queue.

This is a very innovative and clever concept and test. I greatly enjoyed playing this, and finishing it felt satisfying. However, I have a few nitpicks. First, I could not understand why the two cubes were colored green, then blue. Why two different colors? Both cubes appeared to work identically. If those cubes are identical, they really must bear the same color; making them differ is potentially misleading, because the player may think that they serve separate purposes. Second, the aerial faith plate is not aimed quite right and does not consistently send the player through. Third, why does the player get the dual portal device after finishing the test? It's useless at that point. Very well done!

A really FUN thinking map, I liked it. :)
Malfaction 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:50am
I had to use the faith plate facing backwards to get consistant flings. Very nice chamber though! Thumbs up!!

Played this today on my livestream, link below to your map. Cool map Robo, I love this system and it seems you're very good at making solid puzzles with it. I may have "fumbled around" a little bit at first and taken a long way, but I got there in the end :)

Agreed.. the faith plates have always been a bit on the unreliable side.. even stepping on the exact same spot does not always get the same result... great map though looking fwd to more. :-)
Tuleby 5 Jul, 2017 @ 1:36pm
@quatrus: On this catapult you need to step forward, the catapult trigger has a certain length and it always depends on where the activation takes place. This may result in a slight variation in the angle. This is how all the catapults in PORTAL 2 behave, but it only manifests when you need to hit a particular point. :yazdwink:

A nice addition to the series. Had a bit of trouble with the faith plate - kept hitting the bottom of the portal crouch helped. Thanks for creating.

Thanks! Loved the environment and the challenge of monoportal and portal on/off. Great job.

@Blacksilver
Hello my friend. For Gaming maps - portal gum on / off concept you need to look at the map "PRACTICE", it's tutorial.
Tuleby 4 Jul, 2017 @ 1:09pm
@jtenuto: The color of the cube has no function, it only means the player knows where it came from. It is only a thing of better recognizability. :yazdwink:
Wheatleyfan7 4 Jul, 2017 @ 12:55pm
What does the green cube do?
SIGSTACKFAULT 4 Jul, 2017 @ 6:45am

Nice map, well made and sufficiently lit. The colored coded cubes were a nice touch, both visually and practically. Thanks for your efforts.
