is this 3.01 compatible?
elvain  [author] 25 Aug, 2018 @ 3:16pm
thanks and sorry it hasn't been updated.
I'm currently waiting for Holy Fury to be released. It makes so many big changes, also including the regions edited in this mod, that updating it now for current version would be a waste of time (especially when I'm really short of it)

Will this mod ever be updated? From what I can see it's absolutely brilliant, just needs update for Jade Dragon :(
elvain  [author] 12 Mar, 2018 @ 12:53pm
unfortunately not updated. Neither this nor the root mod Ibn Battuta's legacy. With two jobs I don't have enough time to maintain the 2 mods :(

How do you change the IBWA.mod.mod file?
SunDisk 20 Sep, 2017 @ 11:59am
In the game, isn't there a bonus for getting 4 wives? That bonus should be changed to be given for having many offspring so it's more realistic.
I think the bonus was relevant to decadence or prestiege, I don't think if it was to piety.
elvain  [author] 20 Sep, 2017 @ 9:09am
Wouldn't it make piety too easily accessible? Not sure what you mean by the second request, though
SunDisk 15 Sep, 2017 @ 5:15am
Hey, could you add:
- The ability to perform the Ramadan fast while at war/jihad
- Switch prestiege gain from having 4 wives to prestiege gain per child

Hey thanks for the effort, but I got it to work, lovely mod. Btw does this stop sindh from getting conquered by hindus in every playthrough?
elvain  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 12:40pm
@-[S]tealth- could I see your the structure of your mod folder where you edited the file? And how does the edited file looks? Perhaps we could do that via Paradox forums since I'm not sure if you can upload pictures here
elvain  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 12:34pm
@Mentaberry Infumable - I have no idea what age customizer edits. I suppose it doesn't mess up with province and title history. Possible conflicts may appear in culture file and laws, but I would guess that neither of it should be a problem
Stealth 28 Jul, 2017 @ 12:29pm
Yea whatecer i did clearly didn't work because theres still non-culture on the map.
Werrywerwrreywerywery 28 Jul, 2017 @ 9:16am
compatible with age customizer?
elvain  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 1:58am
@-[S]tealth- Well, if you have IBWA.mod file, then do it there (I don't perfectly understand Steam and how it works on various devices, so I don't know how things are displayed). To check if everything is working, just check cultural map of North Africa - there should be Sanhaja and Zanata cultures
Stealth 27 Jul, 2017 @ 9:41pm
Hey im struggling to change the lines manually, I can't find a Ibwa.mod.mod file, i found a ibwa file but don't know what to do. Kinda a noob with this stuff.
elvain  [author] 19 Jul, 2017 @ 1:00pm
In my test games I haven't noticed they would be exploiting it in any way, so there seems to be no problem, or none has been yet observed.
As for the no culture Zirids - it means your dependencies don't work as they should. Have you edited the IBWA.mod.mod file accordingly (see instructions)? Without it the mod doesn't fully work.
Live Finger Reaction 19 Jul, 2017 @ 10:28am
Are you sure that's wise? There's already really powerful what with free MD invasions on nearly all their neighbours. Also the Zirids don't seem to have any culture assigned.
elvain  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 12:59am
Yes. Further versions also plan adjustment of their power and its distribution (their empire should reach Amu/Oxus river and Malikshah should be a vassal king of Khorasan etc.) Giving them empire of Persia is first step
Live Finger Reaction 17 Jul, 2017 @ 11:15am
is the sub mod that makes the Seljuks hold the Persian empire?
elvain  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 2:26am
@TheTitan: Whct weird glitch?
@Fisher Del Fuego: It is a sign that dependencies don't work. In order to make it work, you need to edit User/[YOU]/Documents/Paradox../CrusaderKingsII/modIBWA.mod.mod file so its crucial lines are like this:

name="Improved Islam-Ibn Battutah's World"
archive="mod/ibwa.zip"
dependencies={"Ibn Battuta's Legacy(+) map improvement for CK"}

Then everything will work as it should
Fisher Del Fuego 15 Jul, 2017 @ 5:47pm
In the 1066 start, North Africa should be tribal, but almost teh entire area is Iqta. Any idea why? I know nothing about modding so I'm clueless when it comes to the program.
Lisan al-Ghaib 12 Jul, 2017 @ 2:24pm
does this fix the wierd glitch with bahrien?
elvain  [author] 4 Jul, 2017 @ 12:26pm
Thanks. That is weird. It means the dependency still doesn't work. I tried to edit the files after upload, but I seem to be unable to make it work.
I will investigate it further, until then the only way to have it working is to manualy edit the ibwa.mod file on your side (from my side I can't find how to do it for you).
I will leave a note once I find the solution, but it will take time since I'm not by my computer
Hmnid 4 Jul, 2017 @ 10:32am
Still seeing nocultures in Mauretania/Granada/Africa/Maikele Bahr unfortunately, same as before.
elvain  [author] 4 Jul, 2017 @ 6:44am
Yup, the dependencies were the problem. I tried several various reuploads to acheive desired goal and it seemed to be working at least for me. The problem is that the file you get is auto-generated and I can't (or rather I don't know how to) influence it once I upload the mod.
I re-uploaded the mod again so I hope it will now work as it is supposed to.

Please if anyone else has no culture provinces od does not see Sanhaja culture on the map, report it.

Thanks for your feedback, @Komnenos80
Komnenos80 3 Jul, 2017 @ 2:39pm
The problem persist but I was able to solve it changing the structure of the ibwa.mod.mod file

name="Improved Islam-Ibn Battutah's World"
archive="mod/ibwa.zip"
dependencies=
{
"Ibn Battuta's Legacy(+) map improvement for CK"
}
tags={mod MiddleEast Immersion History Gameplay Islam Muslim}
picture="IBWA.jpg"

The conflictive line seems dependencies.
elvain  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 9:37am
okay, the problem was that the uploaded version of base mod was outdated causing imperfect override of many files.
Now everything should be ok. Please let me know, if there is something weird with cultures etc.
elvain  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 12:24am
Thanks for feedback. That definitely isn't intended. It has to be some problem with overriding the base mod. I will release fix soon (later today)
Komnenos80 2 Jul, 2017 @ 5:06pm
Hi elvain, thanks for your mods. You maybe need to check some files because some Berber characters appear as "noculture".
Secret 2 Jul, 2017 @ 4:47pm
Can you also replace all the names I can't pronounce to regular names (i.e. Dave, Bob, Cindy, etc.)
