Any hope for an update to 1.1?

I made an update of this since I didnt want to wait anymore, you can use it until the original mod-author decides to update.

Any chance this will get updated to B19?

looks really good and I'm using it only for the estetics, but my concern is that it uses more space then a stockpile since it needs access from the sides, so a small rack has four storage slots but takes up two more slots on each side for access, which could've been used for storage with the vanilla storagezone.
Shouldn't a rack have at least two shelves? So you can store two stacks on the same slot?
I've seen other mods solving this by adding a 'virtual' slot underneath meaning you can have two (or more) stacks of the same item on one slot but you can only access the top one. Works like stuff that falls on the same spot outside. I'm guessing wildly here but since this is the best looking storage mod so far, would be nice if it had better features. :)

Hey, I think the racks aren't picking up the pickled turnips and cabbages from Cupropanda's Survivalist Additions mod? I'm looking in the filter options and can't find them.

Hi there @Batlleseed,

about decaying I tried to explained my choice during dev, here: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=23205.msg246863#msg246863

Sorry for being lazy but I'm not a native english speaker and it's late here ^^

So stack does work. However bit disappointed that the storage units do not prevent decay of the items inside and that the refrigerators won't uninstall/reinstall.

@marcin212

It is now done. Thank you for pointing me to your mod

Hey, would you like to add an icon to your mod's Architect tab. All you need to do is to make a 16x16 icon with the right name and put it in a specific folder. More info on my mod's Workshop page: Architect Icons.

@Battleseed
I haven't tested specifically so I'm not that sure, sorry.
If vanilla shelves and Rimfridge fridges supports stacking mods, then I'd say yes. I really think they will but I don't use stacking mods at all (only StackMerger and it works).

If someone have tried, and can tell me, I could said it in description BTW. Thanks in advance

Will this work with stacking mods?
kaptain_kavern  [author] 23 Nov, 2017 @ 3:10pm
@Vroom, yes they both works like shelves

I removed Bridgello but no change. Ill get my modlist to you soon
Gerbal 31 Oct, 2017 @ 2:09am
I don't think 'declined' is the word your looking for. Maybe 'available'?
Funky 30 Oct, 2017 @ 5:58am
I have Bridgello which seems to fit the possible conflict you mentioned. Ill remove it and see how it goes.

I think I recall some other mods are "messing" with terrainDef, most likely a bridges mod I guess if you can't build them on water.

So i guess a solution would be to "Rimfridge + A.S.A.R." placed after or before "the other mod that induce the error". But I can't really guess more without more information.

Could you send/share me a error logs or at least your mod list please ?
Funky 21 Oct, 2017 @ 1:26am
I have a strange issue with this, the non-refrigerator shelves cannot be placed. I get the message "Terrain not suitable"- however I CAN place them on water. Seems like there is an issue somewhere.

Love the mod! It became essential to me, because i like having things neatly sorted. Also now I don't have to build these walkable fridges anymore.
Thor Hydarius 21 Sep, 2017 @ 11:01am
I might have bug, not sure if it's in this mod or caused by other mods I have.
But for some reason I keep getting rotting skeletons stored into the fridges from this mod.
Further testing pending...
kaptain_kavern  [author] 13 Aug, 2017 @ 7:52am
That's not the "direction" I've taken, mostly because I can't do that with limited coding knowledge.

I have explained a bit how it works and why, a bit earlier (you can read it below) but they works like a normal shelf and fridge, just you have more size choice.
ARC190 13 Aug, 2017 @ 3:51am
I feel like item stacks stored in these racks should stack to a higher amount, otherwise what's the point of putting it on shelves instead of the floor?
Presumably (I just found this mod and haven't used it yet), the racks are either acting like solid walls (minus roof support) or very slow to walk through so one would have to place them with space to walk in between shelves, making it an inferior storing solution to just littering it on the floor.
Having items stack to 3x, 5x, or even 10x their normal amount would make it both selsible to use and it whouldn't be unjustified.

Thank you.

Two times even (before your comment I haven't thought about rating my own mod :-p)
ReDjOhN 8 Aug, 2017 @ 6:58am
great :)! subscribed and rated!
kaptain_kavern  [author] 4 Aug, 2017 @ 8:05am
Also forgot : items stored in Vanilla shelves or in my modded fridge aren't decaying even if unroofed.

Thx you for asking :-)
kaptain_kavern  [author] 4 Aug, 2017 @ 8:03am
Oh and this mod (and other similar) are totally compatible with mods that increase stacksize or "StackMerger"
DeadTomLives 4 Aug, 2017 @ 8:03am
Ah, I forgot all about the beauty malus. That makes sense. Thanks!
kaptain_kavern  [author] 4 Aug, 2017 @ 8:02am
Beside being a bigger shelve or fridge? No? ;-)

Items stored in shelves (or my racks) aren't displaying beauty malus that's the only benefit for your colonists (like with shelves in Vanilla). So your storage room doesn't repell your colonists anymore for having -15 beauty on each tiles. (Things like cloth and leather or pieces of meat have a big beauty males when lying on the floor)

Me I use them mostly for optimizing production : I put racks sets to store cloth and leather near the tailor bench for instance and things like that.

For the record, when I first released this mod, shelves was only able to store weapons and apparels (so having shelves capable of holding any types of item was "something new" by then.
DeadTomLives 4 Aug, 2017 @ 4:59am
Out of curiosity, I see these kinds of mods all the time, and is there a point to them other than simple asthetics if the shelves don't hold more than a normal stack size?
