it takes me 2 hours

Just awesome! Took several sessions, but that just makes the solving so much more satisfying. Thanks for another one!
Narkodes 30 Jun, 2020 @ 5:58pm
I enjoyed the puzzle and the visuals!
But damn.... those earthquakes are so annoying and kinda ruin the experience for me :(
Gabriel Bacon 26 May, 2020 @ 6:45pm
VERY good, very clever. Sad to see you rated it easy-medium because I felt way too smart solving it.
bullfrog 19 Apr, 2020 @ 6:05am
When I played this 7 Jul 2017 it blew me away. OK, I've now seen quite a few maps with a similar core idea, but I don't care; still "genius, thumbs up and added to favourites" still.
c4shurik 8 Aug, 2019 @ 7:51am
Very cool! I couldn’t get through right away, re-started playing about a month later, and solved the puzzle!
Zipfl 29 Mar, 2018 @ 1:58am
Couldn't solve it first try, which knowing your other maps and the difficulty rating easy/medium really bugged me. Today instant success! :steamhappy: I love your maps!:p2chell:

This Antlines map was pretty neat! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr4viLV1qsQ

Nice puzzle. Well done.
jandlml 25 Jul, 2017 @ 7:21pm
great map! almost asked for help then realized what needed to be done.:steamhappy:

Really solid test, the visuals are nice, destroying Wheatley's monitor was fun. For me it was one of these puzzles in which the solution stares at you right in the face but you don't do anything until you've tried everything else. Yeah, should've solved it quicker.
BehindPortal 18 Jul, 2017 @ 4:52am
haha real:steamhappy:ly enjoyed. again best work as usual.
kot16ru 17 Jul, 2017 @ 2:19pm
NICE PUZZLE. BEST JOB. Thanks.
K7 Avenger 16 Jul, 2017 @ 1:56pm
Very clever, awesome puzzle. Thanks!
The MAD Fool 14 Jul, 2017 @ 4:11pm
Like many others, I too had problems with the 2nd light bridge. (If you re-load from a save, it will not come back.) All the same, nice puzzle! (I also tried the no piston plat form challenge-- interesting.)
Spaceminnow 13 Jul, 2017 @ 11:34pm
This is the solution I found. I may return later to try to break Weatley's monitor.

Tuleby 13 Jul, 2017 @ 6:18pm
It took me 12 minutes to finish it. One time after a laser collision, I fell off the light bridge. :D:
Perfect logic puzzle, I liked it very much.
Thanks for creating. :krstar::krstar::krstar::krstar::krstar:
hfmanson 13 Jul, 2017 @ 12:20pm
Excellent level!
LB 13 Jul, 2017 @ 7:58am
Nice work! Here's my blind playthrough: https://youtu.be/wt5y7xJbf60
And I agree with Fumbly Bumbly and Midd, the puzzle would be better without the piston platform.
Union of Universes and Patrons 13 Jul, 2017 @ 7:24am
YESSSSS! I DID IT! I love this test.
Midd 12 Jul, 2017 @ 4:15am
I was able to jump from the piston platform, around the glass pane and up into to funnel through the floor portals
Rector  [author] 11 Jul, 2017 @ 8:30pm
Oh wow, that's smart! Though it might be a little obscure since it's not "fully visible" per se. Then again if I remove the piston platform I can get rid of the ugly glass pane. Decisions, decisions... :GDHard:
Fumbly Bumbly 11 Jul, 2017 @ 8:23pm
@RectorRocks After switching out the first lightbridge for the upper one as shown here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=973780811 I can just walk through the orange portal and proceed from shooting here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=973784504
Rector  [author] 11 Jul, 2017 @ 8:07pm
@Fumbly Bumbly Huh? How did you manage to solve it without the piston platform then? I'd assume you jumped the gap after placing the portal across the funnel area?
Rector  [author] 11 Jul, 2017 @ 8:07pm
Thanks guys!

@kimist108 Haha yeah it was originally only breakable by flinging a cube but people wanted it to be breakable via the laser too so I removed the trigger to break it via velocity :P Thanks for playing!

@ℳadeye Hmm, I don't think the grating "ruined" the effect, but yeah I agree that it is underdetailed. I didn't really think the puzzle was that hard, but the solution does involve something you don't normally see in the workshop (no gimmicks or finicky execution tho) Thanks for persisting!

@quatrus Sorry you had trouble with the second bridge! Thanks for playing!

@(Edgy) Asriel Dreemurr Thanks Asriel! Glad you liked the puzzle :) I agree that it is underdetailed, that is mainly because this was rushed for the contest so I couldn't really detail it as much as I originally wanted to.
Fumbly Bumbly 11 Jul, 2017 @ 7:50pm
I just played this again today and something I found is that the player doesn't need to use the piston platform to reach the upper light bridge. It could be removed and the puzzle would remain pretty much the same.
(Edgy) Asriel Dreemurr 11 Jul, 2017 @ 8:45am
I really do like the puzzle of this map. Started once but got nowhere trying to figure out how to get the funnel outside the room, so I left. Immediately as I turned off the game I realized I could just replace the first lightbridge with the second one triggered by the laser. After that I was able to solve it effortlessly. Since then I've gone back to the map multiple times, even breaking the Wheatley monitor once. So yes, very good puzzle.

As for the aesthetics, I'm not really sure. I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination. It is pretty basic, there's very little of the actual Wheatley style in the map which I think is the only real downside. I don't dislike the visuals, it just seems maybe more could have been done with them.
quatrus 11 Jul, 2017 @ 6:51am
Ya 10 minutes eh? Took me considerably longer to figure it out. Then had some troubles with losing the second bridge every time I had to restart - needed to reshoot the laser into the catcher every time to get the bridge again. Once I sorted out how to get the funnel the rest was straightforward - typical of your creations - hard to figure easy to execute.... Well done thanks for another creation.
gabet4 9 Jul, 2017 @ 8:34pm
map like this are a joy to play thank for making it
totes amaze balls 9 Jul, 2017 @ 2:15pm
I don't know man, I just had a really hard time with this puzzle. It drove me insane, I could literally get nowhere. I quit, came back, got nowhere again, quit, played other maps form people like Ben77 as warmups, came back, got nowhere. Maybe I'm just an idiot, I don't know, but I AM FUCKING STUCK!!! xD

I might as well judge the visuals then. It was alright, but I thought that the grating over the open framework window ruined the effect of the bts. Throughout the map was kind of okay, but could've been better.

That's what I have to say for now, I will try to solve it again.....xD
kimist108 8 Jul, 2017 @ 6:06pm
Success takes looking around and thinking. The elments tell you what you need to do. Glad I read the comment on how to break the monitor. I was trying to fling the cube at it.
Incredible Beast man 8 Jul, 2017 @ 3:30pm
Very fun map to solve.
Tuleby 8 Jul, 2017 @ 10:27am
Very nice chamber. :p2chell::thumbs:

@jgaultney @Libbybapa @bullfrog No worries, glad you all enjoyed smashing it :P

@dcook Oh! Haha don't know why that flew over my head XD

@Zoraya Thanks so much for the kind words, Zoraya! They mean a lot to me. It's always nice seeing you here

@Jade BGE Thanks Jade! That compliment warmed my heart. :LIS_pixel_heart: Thanks for playing!

@tuleby (CZ) Wow! Good spot, tuleby! I fixed it
bullfrog 7 Jul, 2017 @ 11:25pm
Thanks for monitor update :)
Jade BGE 7 Jul, 2017 @ 2:29pm
Yes! I did it! Thank you for this rose among an abundence of weeds. So fresh so fun!
Zoraya 7 Jul, 2017 @ 2:15pm
Very good again! I always enjoy the brain-teasers in your maps, it never gets boring.
Thanks a lot for your valuable contributions to the portal community!
Libbybapa 7 Jul, 2017 @ 10:59am
It's silly the amount of satistaction I feel at destroying Wheatley monitors.
dcook 7 Jul, 2017 @ 9:27am
general antilles ... Star wars? ;-)
jgaultney 7 Jul, 2017 @ 7:38am
Thanks for the monitor, they're a lot like turrets. I just can't pass one up without
disabling it, if I can. :)) Thumbs up!
Rector  [author] 7 Jul, 2017 @ 5:49am
@bullfrog Haha thanks bullfrog! Glad you enjoyed it. I updated it so you can break the monitor with the laser now :B1:

@dcook What's a trap? And thanks for playing!
dcook 7 Jul, 2017 @ 3:23am
Took abit more than 15 min, as I had to keep going back and resetting things... if you do a save when the cube is on the light bridge, when you restore you have to go back and reset the cube.. for whatever reason the game itself it glitchy like that.. Great fun map. :-)
dcook 7 Jul, 2017 @ 3:13am
It's a trap? lol
bullfrog 7 Jul, 2017 @ 2:00am
... yep, gone mad - feel free to delete this and last comment
bullfrog 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:42am
... have i gone mad? Just went back to play again and the cube drop button has gone!
bullfrog 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:37am
... and yes I agree with @Fumbly Bumbly - I wasted a few minutes setting that up, but to no avail; so thanks for offering update.
bullfrog 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:31am
Brilliant puzzle; genius, thumbs up and added to favourites. I don’t know about “Estimated playtime: 10 minutes”, it took me quite a bit (lot) longer than that, mainly because I was doing the wrong thing with the funnel :steamfacepalm:. I really like the way the light bridges are used and the way you get .... into funnel.
Rector  [author] 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:12am
Thanks guys!

@Fumbly Bumbly Haha you're the second person to say that. I'll update it for you guys :P
Fumbly Bumbly 7 Jul, 2017 @ 12:49am
Very nice puzzle! But missed opportunity to allow the player to destroy the Wheatley monitor with the laser.
Barsik 6 Jul, 2017 @ 11:27pm
Excellent map. I like your tests. Thanks for creating.
