Balthazad 17 May, 2022 @ 8:08pm
fucklol a liver cirrhosis can't be undone by a simple surgery, you NEED a transplantation for that. could aswell add a surgery that heals lost limbs or heals cancer, just L O L !
(got a cirrhosis, know what i'm talkin about)

@Newfatdwarf

There is a 1.0 and a 1.1 version. just search it on the workshop. they've been out for a while.
New fat dwarf 25 Feb, 2020 @ 7:38am
Hello, is it possible to add version for 1.0, becausethere is a lots of good but not updated mods, so it would be great to play on version 1.0 until another mods'll be updated?

B19 please
Wryson Rose 1 Sep, 2018 @ 1:17pm
@Soulfiend -- When I last tried it, it didn't work on noses either. I couldn't attach an artificial nose when one of my colonists had his uhm...removed by force.
TomTheFurry 1 Sep, 2018 @ 12:38am
b19 please?
Soulfiend 31 Aug, 2018 @ 11:06am
@Mikal_Serity well the last update was around the B18 release date so if it had no issues to fix that make sense it being the last update so i wouldn't rule out an update just from that, It still seems to work with curing scars etc, but seems to have lost the function of replace fingers and toes for me
Abigeiru7 29 Aug, 2018 @ 3:22am
please update this mod to 0.19
Wryson Rose 28 Aug, 2018 @ 11:01pm
As the last update was on Dec 7, 2017 @ 11:07pm, I'm highly doubting this mod will be updated. It may actually work, but...I think the developer has pretty much abandoned ship.
Maxxmillian 28 Aug, 2018 @ 9:34pm
B19 was pushed out to everyone today as the current version, love your mod, will you be updating it?
ReinstenRosette🤍 28 Aug, 2018 @ 3:20pm

groovybluedog 21 Jul, 2018 @ 9:49am
This mod is great but needs some TLC.
独乐乐不如众乐乐 19 Jul, 2018 @ 6:11pm
We can fix lost nose,we can fix lost ears, but why we can`t fix lost eyes? Well ,personally,I assume this is an omission.Sadly , one of my colonists just lost his eye and i can do nothing but watching him being hated by others.Would you please fix this?
Sedition 2 Jul, 2018 @ 5:26pm
Re: Save compatibility, I've run the mod on my save for a few hours and had no problems so far. Performed a few new surgeries and looks good.
RemyJustice97 27 Jun, 2018 @ 7:42pm
I agree with @BasileusMaximos, would it be possible to lock some or all of these behind research?

Is this mod save compatible?
Nerdygamer1 29 Apr, 2018 @ 11:08am
(1/2) I've been using this mod for a few weeks now and love it to bits. It's really nice to be able to repair missing fingers without having to use an entire bionic arm, but I think the mod could use some balance tweaks, maybe? I only have ~200 hours in the game and have never even finished it, but the easy surgeries feel incredibly cheap, resource-wise. For someone who has thousands of healroot in the freezer, it's no big deal to just insta-heal all minor injuries at the cost of just two healroot.
Nerdygamer1 29 Apr, 2018 @ 11:07am
(2/2) Furthermore, you can use healroot to heal "permanent" injuries. For example, I had a colonist who had permanent gunshot injuries to the eyes, which meant they weren't going to heal by themselves over time. I really like that I was able to heal them back to normal with this mod, but the mod treated them as "Easy surgeries" and the cost was only two herbal medicine. I felt the cost should have been two regular medicine at the least and possibly two glitterworld medicine.

Overall, I really enjoy that the mod lets me fix injuires that wouldn't be easily treatable in vanilla Rimworld, but I do feel that some of the surgeries should cost more medicine for what they do.
etet2 15 Apr, 2018 @ 4:51am
you should increase the ammount of medicine required for healing scars to about 5(non herbal) right now they seem very op
Pamparampampamparam 12 Apr, 2018 @ 1:44pm
Feel there should be a tech barrier to using these surgeries
Wryson Rose 24 Mar, 2018 @ 3:42pm
Looks like I can't repair a nose? It calls for a bed, two regular or better medicine, and a doctor with the skill of eight. I have three beds, a doc with 12 skill, and thirty medicine available, but am repeatedly told I'm missing something.
MasonNasty 23 Mar, 2018 @ 12:30am
Hello kaptain_kavern, would it be possible for me to ask you a technical question in a private message?
Grim Reaper 12 Mar, 2018 @ 10:16am
Found the error. I don't know if this a bug/coding issue but, i would deem it so. If your person doesn't accept Medical and only accepts herbal you will not be able to operate on them even if you have the supplies.
Grim Reaper 12 Mar, 2018 @ 9:55am
Having trouble repairing tibia...have more than enough (100+)plasteel and 4 meds
Numenusty 11 Mar, 2018 @ 10:30am
For some reason I cant repair shattered femur with 2 Glitterworld medicine.
Codi 10 Mar, 2018 @ 7:37pm
Thanks, had a scar stab on my bionic colonist (brain damage).
So his enhanced moving, sight, etc was countered until I had him have surgery with this mod.

are you still taking translation contribute?

Asthma doesn't seem curable... the option is there but it always says the operation needs materials even though I have all 3 types of medicine, plenty, well more than it needs, accessible, not forbidden, and every other operation works except asthma. Ugh!
DADMANT 10 Feb, 2018 @ 10:29am
In your mod, in B18, operations to replace ribs do not work. All you need to do is replace "RepairBonesRib" with "appliedOnFixedBodyParts"
need to do:
<appliedOnFixedBodyParts>
<li>Rib1</ li>
<li>Rib2</ li>
<li>Rib3</ li>
<li>Rib4</ li>
<li>Rib5</ li>
<li>Rib6</ li>
<li>Rib7</ li>
<li>Rib8</ li>
<li>Rib9</ li>
<li>Rib10</ li>
<li>Rib11</ li>
<li>Rib12</ li>
</appliedOnFixedBodyParts>

@kaptainkavern, does the DE stand for Deutsch?
Lugaru 27 Jan, 2018 @ 10:16am
This mod addresses the issue of 'why are we replacing things we can fix?'.

Might still need some balance around some of the old injuries you can just remove, but I love being able to heal fresh injuries. I had a really dramatic moment of trying to heal two cuts on a patients neck so she would not die of oxigen depravation as her infection worsened. She lived... with a little brain damage. Until a Warg got her later.
Limp Bisquick 24 Jan, 2018 @ 11:03pm
Awesome mod! Thanks for sharing.
Madman666 24 Jan, 2018 @ 1:31am
Oh, you can even use herbal medicine to cure scars. Wow. Yeah, I'll have to tone it down a bit for my run. Still its a really nice thing to have.
Madman666 22 Jan, 2018 @ 12:26pm
Really nice mod, thank you) Ability to cure scars with just 2 regular medicine so easily feels cheesy though)) Probably should require glittermeds for that imo.
7antalus 4 Jan, 2018 @ 3:15pm
Is there a way to get this to work with EPOE? I did some poking around with my other mods and noticed that rib surgeries disappear from use if enabled alongside this mod.

@Outlawkatt lmfao, half human & half boomalope. I like it.
Outlawkatt 13 Dec, 2017 @ 2:35pm
This may sound twisted but what if. Your colonist has lost both legs. Could it be possible to add a harvest from animals and have animal lower halves or legs?
dimasgomez 9 Dec, 2017 @ 12:22pm
First of all, thank you for this awesome feature. As a suggestion, I got a few colonists with gut worms... and they are (forgive me if I'm mistaken very treatable in real world, although can be pretty nasty and even fatal. The diagnostic would be the tricky part (where the game fails... diagnosing is the hardest part, and stuff like this is often treated first, diagnosed later). I was going to ask how to mod the mod, but I found it very straightforward. As a matter of fact, garlic, honey and pumpkin seeds are highly effective against gut worms. Vermicides are not exactly high medical science and I assume that with the aid of any decent doctor they can be very effective... I have treated and been treated a few times even without one. About the "surgical" approach (which I guess I fail to understand the skill requirements required, there are radical somehow risky methods... that happens to be very simple to execute.
