Also, i know you're working on Realspace 3.3 but PLEASE update this Max Compatability version, this one alone allowed me to jury-rig Hypothetical Stars and More Star Classes to work together, by simply adding this one to the mix =)
So this cut down version still has an important use.
Hopefully you can update this mod soon as the larger systems are hell with other mods and even the base game. Megastructures kinda don't fit in the stars they are supposed to be around.
Any news on when this will be brought up to date?
id really like a version that is just the star types, or as close to it as i can get.
but considering that atm this version acts up....
Go into the mod folder which is located at "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\969470684" and just go into the zip. I didn't even have to extract the zip file. go into the "Common" folder and delete the megastructures folder. While this isn't the cleanest solution it does solve the problem.
This bug is being caused by the fact this folder still refers to megastructures needing minerals in the old economy and i'd imagine some of the old planet district stuff too. Removing this folder removes those references and fixes the null megastructures bug and the error'd megastructure spawn at launch

I've tested with only this mod enabled and both using a custom saved species and brand new species.
