back up your storage folder before installing!!! this mod makes a lot of changes and you may not like some of them. I loved the new monster behaviours, but all the monsters became have such high health and damage that it makes the game less fun for me

@bk3000 I do know about all this. I've been trying to fix it myself for nearly 2 days...

I've checked my log, went to the starbound community, tried to find the problem within the mods I have installed, and some other things. After finding someone with a problem similar to mine, I discovered that the problem is within the follower and pet health bars mod that aparently come together with the monsters additions.

This whole situation is due to the fact that I dislike the combat overhaul mod and it's mechanics. I only seek to have the "monster addition" part of it.

You know reporting problems on an outdated mod isn't likely to get fixed. Even less so without logs, but even with I think you're barking up the wrong tree here.

As the link says, Supper's Combat Overhaul is what you should use instead - aka unsub from this and sub there. If you are STILL having problems with the up-to-date version, then go to
\starbound\storage\starbound.log
and copy those contents onto Pastebin, and leave the link to it for him.

@sentientsupper I can´t capture any monsters. They just die when the capture pod hits them.

If you check you logs, you'll realize it is crashing - rather the world is crashing. Consider this a sort of crash recovery/safety mechanism - that means your character isn't totally screwed since you can at least fly elsewhere.

If it didn't work like that and the entire program crashed instead - then next time you reload that character the same exact thing would happen. Again and again and again. So be glad they handle it this way.

@bk3000 okay, thank you. Still don't get why it is not crashing but teleporting to the ship. I've got many crashes with "unknown monster behaviour" (FU conflict with it i guess), but never the teleportation thing

Because this adds new abilities to monster generation. After you removed it, those abilities aren't defined. You teleport back because the planet error resulting from this. Go fly to a planet you haven't visited yet, or to a planet you visited prior to installing this.

I have unsubed from this mod. And now all of the planets just teleport me back to the ship after 10-15 seconds of being on them. It's funny. Any idea why?

they monsters are very op i can't beam at first planet and i die for a wave of these no soul creatures of darkness, just come lots of bird like 5 of them and attack when you get the sword you are at 1 of hp *sigh*

Idk if the monster is from this mod, but I found a monster called "Am" and it has no sprite at all, just an invisible thing that fights, shoots a red energy ball that explodes after a short time

It was the same when I worked tech support. I don't know why so many people are like that.

As supper said before there is likely an FU incompatibility because FU uses an older version of Supper's Monster Additions to add in the ranged attacks for certain monsters.

Are the parameters of this mod based on vanilla data structure only? I'm trying to track down an issue where my crew have lifebars above their heads and won't respond to prompting. I have FU and Pandora's Box, so if this mod isn't compatible that probably is what it is. Thanks.

Being able to see any kind of health stat on a pod would be nice just to get an estimate of how much they can take compared to other monsters.
