Do I need to do anything? When I click the kibble it's still saying ingredients: Potato, hay, so if the next lot is corn, hay it makes two stacks. Maybe I never noticed because I usually play with a mod that combined all veggies and meat into mixed veg and mixed meats..

Yay! Thank you so much!! :D

There should be an update soon (depending on how long steam takes to analyse and approve), that should hopefully fix things. Good thing you hit me on a day with a bit of energy. :lunar2019grinningpig:

I'm wondering if I did it with another mod because if didn't have this issue previously. I installed 2 that affect storage...but neither should technically affect it? Either way would love if you could take a look and let me know if it's my fault or if yours consider a patch :D.

I haven't touched rimworld in ages but I'll give it a look to see if there's anything obvious.

This is now stacking by ingredient type...is there a way to stop that? I'm ending up with 5 different piles because of it.

Sorry for newbie question - can I tame animals with these kibbles? Thanks)

Must be something on your end Sly, mod is working just fine.
cucumpear  [author] 13 Nov, 2022 @ 3:30am
I would assume that it's a conflict. You could play with mod order to see if that helps.
The Sly Somnambulist 12 Nov, 2022 @ 4:19pm
thank you for this mod! It's updated for 1.4, but when i add it to my load order, neither meaty nor veggie kibble are makeable or spawnable in-game. Is this an issue with the mod or is something conflicting with it somehow, do you think?
LionelCG 10 Nov, 2022 @ 3:54pm
Thank you cucumpear, all the butts!
cucumpear  [author] 25 Oct, 2022 @ 1:26am
It's on my to-do!

Hi there! Great mod and ty for making it! I've run into an issue where the kibble made from different ingredients doesn't stack (eg mushrooms/human/insect don't stack with each other or with other types), this is behavior that's been expanded on recently (with ideology) for normal meals but doesn't apply to vanilla kibble so there's definitely a way around it. Would be really great if you could add this behavior so that the carnivorous kibble is handled the same way as vanilla.

This should be included in base game, especially with the new vegan meals for colonists.

can wargs eat the meat kibble?
SetArk <Nyanverick 07> 21 Mar, 2021 @ 2:56pm
Would it be possible, to add bulk variants? Or it's too heavy on the mod?
I truly don't know sh*t on the well, coding part xD ^^"
cucumpear  [author] 21 Mar, 2021 @ 1:33pm
No, it's on the same level as the vanilla Kibble recipe.
SetArk <Nyanverick 07> 19 Mar, 2021 @ 6:33am
Sorry quick question.
Does the mod add some, Bulk Crafting options?

Is it possible to add compability for plant scraps from fertile fields? to use it instead of hay. sorry for my English and thanks for your mod
Daniel_USA 17 Feb, 2019 @ 12:02am
for some reason when i have only hay the icon is missing from the list that shows total amount of items that is at the top left of the screen. I havent made any type of kibble so i dont know if the icon is missing when I just own a type of kibble.
Enlonwhite 30 Oct, 2018 @ 4:53pm
I went with the 0.29 value one, as the higher one feels too strong
cucumpear  [author] 30 Oct, 2018 @ 4:36pm
It won't conflict, but only the vanilla kibble will have the higher nutrition. I haven't looked at that mod, if it's balanced I can add a patch.
Enlonwhite 30 Oct, 2018 @ 4:22pm
Does this work with Nutrious Kibble mod? (it ups the value of the Nutrient value)
cucumpear  [author] 17 Oct, 2018 @ 1:14am
The update to 1.0 only changed the version code, so just enable it in your 0.19 game. ^^
Oddworld86 17 Oct, 2017 @ 5:36am
A good bone soup to serve the prisoners, why not? Joke aside, thank you for your answer, because many users of this good mod are looking for a way to use these bones, which sometimes accumulate ...

Thank you for your clarification and your contribution.
cucumpear  [author] 17 Oct, 2017 @ 5:13am
Possible? Absolutely. But adding them in a way that makes sense is trickier. (Taking into consideration that I haven't actually used the bone mod myself.)

Basically there is a list of food types coded into the game (like "processed," "meat," "corpse," etc) and those are connected to the diets. The easy way is to add a food tag to the bones themselves, but then you would have to exclude it from recipes or you'd end up using them for normal cooking recipes.
It should be relatively easy to also add a new food type to the game with C#, but that would still require adding the food type to the bones and also the animals' diets.
Oddworld86 17 Oct, 2017 @ 3:00am
Hi cucumpear,

Is it possible to add the bones of "Bone Mod", as a specific diet for non human carnivorous?
Fendryk 8 Oct, 2017 @ 12:05pm
Lit!
cucumpear  [author] 8 Oct, 2017 @ 9:49am
Absolutely. :D
Fendryk 8 Oct, 2017 @ 7:39am
does it count as MeatRaw for Wargs?
cucumpear  [author] 8 Oct, 2017 @ 2:59am
Not directly, but it provides a workaround of sorts. The meaty kibble is tagged kibble and meat, so animals that eat meat, but no kibble, will still eat it. The same goes for the veggie kibble.
Fendryk 6 Oct, 2017 @ 9:28pm
Does this enable animals that do not usually eat kibble to eat it?
cucumpear  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 12:43am
Heh, I make a lot of li'l QoL mods. :P
Dellamorte 29 Aug, 2017 @ 4:37pm
I never noticed that this was your mod till now ;)
cucumpear  [author] 9 Jul, 2017 @ 10:26pm
That shouldn't be any problem. The only specific crop named in the recipe is hay, all other ingredients are just defined as "all fruit/vegetables" and "all meat."
Caffeine Rage 9 Jul, 2017 @ 6:41pm
Do you know if this plays well with mods that adds new crops, like Vegetable Garden?
