You already have a port of Left 4 Dead 2 by default with Gmod if yoi buy it lol

The addons in the workshop aren't there for you to get illegal copies of games.

I assume they had HLDM source
This is not a port
It requires the models from HL
For it to spawn weapons you do need the HL-SWEPS mod

Because Valve broke a lot of features in the source engine and never bothered to update Half-Life Source to get it up to date and fix it.

Half Life deathmatch source comes for free with Half-Life 2. Which was given away for free by Valve not long ago.

So apparently HLSDM doesn't work with this but for some reason when using HLSDM the announcement system uses BMS lines (I have it mounted)

Again, a version of HL:S comes for FREE with Half-Life 2. A game that Valve game away for free to keep for the entirety of the month of November. So if you really didn't get Half-Life 2 for the entire month you had to activate it, then I'm sorry but that's not the author's fault.
