Then just take the originals from the game itself using Wraith Revenant. Skip the existing ports entirely.

i thought only the customhero shaded one didnt appear
wait the spec model doesnt appear as well?
you know i can just post it without all of the fancy shading
and remove the other 2 duplicates

You just proved my point. You didn't notice that the originals were three duplicates of the same model stacked on top of one another. In garrysmod only one of the three shows up.

In order to fix that not only does every material need to be re-written with full knowledge of the differences between engine branch, but the model itself often needs to be altered to have 2 additional duplicates thrown over top.


How can I trust you to port it properly if you couldn't even tell how the original worked?

Here's the thing lad. When you say you've used them before what you really mean was two thirds of the model was invisible and you didn't even notice. Said missing bits were also still loaded in memory, effectively wasting a lot of space for no reason.

And that's something I will not allow.

also it actually doesnt eat that much memory because i have used these models in gmod before

The elite guard works great, but the MP pistol has an ERROR, and will not show up. Just letting you know, I've encountered a problem with the pistol, and will attempt to fix it on my end if I am in error on this one. Besides that, great job! keep it up!

On A side note, could you maybe do a model of the armor chips that you can get out of these guys? I was thinking of making reference to the whole remove-the-armor-chip thing...

he can't. they're terribly memory intensive. they'd be terrible in GMod due to their memory consumption.

I am sincerly sorry for asking this but will you port all of your doom models to gmod? I know its a horrible question but i would like to make a big Doom picture using Doom 3 and Doom 4/2016 models.

Now these i can work with. But quick question to you. Are you or anyone else planning on making the DooM multiplayer soldiers with bodygroups for the armor pieces, glowing lights, undersuit, and preset textures? I wanna try some sfm ideas I had in mind.
