I like the idea of this but cannot figure out how to get it working.
Enzojz  [author] 18 Jan, 2021 @ 2:25am
@Dgidge No, since in tpf2 you can't really modify the terrain by constructions, and if I make this for tpf2, you will not be able to remove it..
Dgidge 18 Jan, 2021 @ 1:02am
do you think you can do this mod for tpf2 ? it will be really usefull, even the terrain brushes are more better...
(F.S).Moriarty 14 Oct, 2020 @ 1:11pm
Now I remember, why I stayed so long with tpf2: much better terrain editing. This "mod" doesn't show up in any menu, window what ever. Seems like tpf1 is forgotten but nearly nobody switched to tpf2 so there are only very few mods to find, very disappointing.
Sqweloookle 19 Sep, 2018 @ 9:02am
thanks for this mod
Sqweloookle 19 Sep, 2018 @ 9:01am
maybe change it to a field or something large so it easier to bulldoze once placed?
Enzojz  [author] 17 Sep, 2018 @ 4:17pm
@Phoebe Becasue the game force me do this, if not it crashes
CayaMaya 5 Sep, 2018 @ 10:51pm
Oh, btw, why does this mod leave a rock when flattening?
CayaMaya 5 Sep, 2018 @ 10:49pm
Thank you! I could finally put that big airport in. @Skye_Izume, this mod would come in handy if I wanted to recreate the country where I live. The Netherlands.
SpecialistZer0 2 Jun, 2018 @ 11:38pm
Thanks Enzojz, this is another great mod, it works well and its really useful, save loads of time when plcing stations. just bulldoze any rocks left bhimd ;-)
TurismoRS 27 May, 2018 @ 9:20am
oh ok
Enzojz  [author] 26 May, 2018 @ 11:48pm
@TurismoRS It's a limit from the game...
TurismoRS 26 May, 2018 @ 4:50pm
could you maybe make the rocks non existent, or something, bc i just cleared an entire mountain(so my planes wont go through them) and now there are like a million rocks i have to click on to remove XD

@Enzojz - Thanks, got it now.
Enzojz  [author] 3 Sep, 2017 @ 11:52am
@The artist formerly known as § No, not terrain tools, asset tools.

I've subscribed to this, and added it to a previously saved game. I can't work out how to use it - should it appear under the terrain tools?
axtaria 20 Aug, 2017 @ 5:17pm
Thank you placing an airport was a hard wprl
dwtrains_nz 23 Jul, 2017 @ 6:25pm
Interesting. This could come in handy for a map I'm about to start. And I know of a certain youtuber who could have done with this awhile ago. Colonel Failure...
Enzojz  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 7:56am
@fmccurry I have no control over this, could report it to UG.
Nails Nathan 21 Jul, 2017 @ 3:29am
Adding:
Just like in your third picture
Nails Nathan 21 Jul, 2017 @ 3:28am
When I flatten an area with many rocks, the vast majority of the rocks are destroyed. But, not all of them. Then when I place a station down the rocks are still there, on top of the station. I can destroy them manually. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you
Enzojz  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 1:20am
@Skye_Izumi I didn't do anything, the pictures are there since the first day.
Skye_Izumi 20 Jul, 2017 @ 1:14am
@Enzojz Oh look you've just added pictures to show what the mod does, maybe you should have done that before publishing this mod, to avoid any confusion. Well whatever.
Enzojz  [author] 19 Jul, 2017 @ 12:55pm
@CatFromMars 资产菜单。
Enzojz  [author] 19 Jul, 2017 @ 12:50pm
@Skye_Izumi You TOTALLY misses the understanding of the case of use of this tool. To put a station in a hill terrain is just too painful in this game. I think you don't know what player is doing if they just want to get a flat terrain: using a road tool for thousand time to get a flat terrain little by little and finally get a flat terrain to put the station on it, since the in-game tool is just functionally handicap. No one said using this tool to get a flat map, it's ridiculous, if I want to get a flat map, I get generate a flat one. It seems you are the one who don't want to take critics. LOL. Sorry please don't take your *** as a critic, unconstructive critic is nonsense and valueless.
CatFromMars 19 Jul, 2017 @ 9:46am
请问 , 在哪里可以调用这个工具呢?谢谢
Skye_Izumi 19 Jul, 2017 @ 7:46am
@Enzoji, Oh look someone who can't take critique.

I know what your mod is for and I know why people use it, yes it makes creating a transport system much easier, for a much easier time, same as the No Cost Mod.

But, it takes away most of the character your transport system could have had with hilly terrain. Mountain Railways, Large Towering Bridges, Super long Viaducts, deep underground tunnels.

The satisfacation of creating a successful transport on a difficult map is much greater.

If you can't take critique, stop doing mods, I don't hate the mod by means, but it is a mod that will leave people with little satisfaction, but the feeling of something missing will be that, and that's the lack of character in the map.
Enzojz  [author] 19 Jul, 2017 @ 6:15am
@Skye_Izumi This tools gives you better level controls when you want to build station. If you don't know why we need it, don't use it.
Skye_Izumi 19 Jul, 2017 @ 4:44am
Flat terrain equals no character.

I like the hilly maps, I feel hills nd mountains add character your railway.
ledhed430 17 Jul, 2017 @ 4:09pm
No problem. I settled on 128 for my max diameter and bumped up the max strength to 40. Larger than that didn't seem too effective for the leveling brush.
jazzy01 17 Jul, 2017 @ 12:51pm
Thanks led, made it a whole lot easier and quicker.
ledhed430 16 Jul, 2017 @ 12:23pm
Grijze, These parameters in the 'base_config.lua'?

game.config.terrainToolMinRadius = 4
game.config.terrainToolMaxRadius = 48
jazzy01 16 Jul, 2017 @ 5:03am
The western europe map is one of my favorites but its covered in ridges, with the current smoothing tool set to its largest diameter it would take hours to cover the full map.
A Guy Called Pi 15 Jul, 2017 @ 12:15pm
You can in fact make the smoothing tool larger - there's an option for it in the "base_config.lua" file.
Enzojz  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 2:32pm
@jazzy01 No way to make a terrain smoothing mod like the one from the game, but use n/m to change the diameter.
Enzojz  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 2:29pm
@东方力量小灵通 懒,机翻的话你应该可以看到更多字
jazzy01 14 Jul, 2017 @ 8:42am
Cool mod, any chance you could make a larger terrain smoothing mod?
Wouldnt know how to do it myself.
溥天之下小灵通 13 Jul, 2017 @ 10:07pm
简介为什么这么机翻= =?
8685608 13 Jul, 2017 @ 5:55am

This is EXACTLY what I wanted the other day! THANK YOU!
General Tso 12 Jul, 2017 @ 5:17pm
Thank you. This looks like it will be very useful. I'll definitely check it out when I start my next map.
