I doubt TF2 is the right game to discuss whether the characters are historically accurate or not, since they're all based on cultural stereotypes of the 50s

Marina, the name is a play on "The Last Samurai", which is the name of a movie

"Marina" soldier never fought in ww2, And judging from ALL his other oriental themed cosmetics it seems he loves eastern culture.

This isn't much of a cosmetic if it's referring to the half zat wars with demo it's somewhat okay but soldier being in world war2 would probably hate japenese culture, alot

It looks like he's wearing a robe to hide an Iron Man suit. you can still see the red metal plating and arc reactor.
