Inspired by this and seeing the new Combat Medic Class Perk, i thought about introducing this Design for a class, which is like Survivalist from KF2, but much better customization where you can have 12 points to spent in different kinds of attributes from all the class perks (+added 1 minor perk to choose). Where you could do your own modified class to try
The way of modifying this tree could be done in "a shop menu" (Before joining the game, or even in the Main Menu) where you could buy perks for free, but only your 12 points are the limit.

In Call Of Duty Ghost i remember how there was a point perk system, where you could have certain amounts of points to spent in perk tree. This idea is like the same.

Been playin ScrN for a while, and its breath of fresh air from the original game. The Balance feels quite good, as Demolitionist performs better in solo with M4 203, and Sharpshooter's Crossbow aint that broken without reload speed. Shriver and Tesla Husk being new zed adds little more variety to the gameplay, over all with the much smoother moving capabilities.

Technically, it is possible to configure any game length: from 1 to 250 waves. Those are just not included in the default rotation. Join our Discord server for more information.

ive also noticed that some variant of the gorefast despawns immediately after dying, and is there a way to set the bodies to stay for longer?

Sandbox is incompatible with ScrN Balance. Start the game in a regular length, then change the game config via the Map Voting menu.

hey thanks so much for this sick mod, but i have a problem, when ii try and change game length in sandbox menu it disables perks and custom zombies, is they a way i could get around this?

What game mode are you playing? Are you playing The Baron's Game, where one random player gets blamed each wave? In other modes, it shouldn't be the case.

Why do I keep getting a "punishment" on the side of my screen when im playing solo? Why is there a huge shit that appears for 60 seconds every round?

Yes, locally installing *.ka files is enough. Every other package clients may download from the server.

So if I just share a public link containing a copy of these 2 files and tell players to put them in their local KarmaData directory, everything should work as intended, right? I'll do that. Thank you very much for the help.

Due to KF1 engine (UE2.5) limitations, karma ragdoll files are not replicated from server to clients. Clients must install the ScrN Brutal KF Bundle locally to see death animations of Female FP or Doom3 monsters. Or at least copy FFPKarma.ka and Doom3Karma.ka files.

The female FP has no ragdolls on my server, she just disappears immediately when killed, it's really annoying. I'm using ScrN Brutal pack, by the way. Any tip on how to fix this?

@HekuT do not play solo as it is bugged. Host a listen server with MaxPlayers=1 to play solo instead. And what do you mean by "Lost a couple important files"? This mod does not overwrite any vanilla game files.

I'm trying to add a few Custom Weapons in ServerPerks. Okay maybe a lot. In Singleplayer it works perfectly fine but after like 20 Weapons aside from the Scrn Weapons, no one can join anymore.
They just stuck in the index.rom loading screen.
Is there a maximum Number of Weapons you can add?

@PrivateSchneide ScrN Balance does not use vanilla perks and automatically raises perk levels on higher difficulties, so you can jump in anytime.

Hi. I don't really play kf anymore at the moment, but the problem never was in controlling the trigger neither on this one, nor on the original. The problem is that this rifle babygates you from using full auto at close range. Implementing fixed short burst is like the worst idea possible. Even single shot mode would've been better.

Sorry, I had accidentally unsubscribed from this topic, and, therefore wasn't getting notifications.

1. M4 203 has a normal burst mode, not the retarded one. If you release the firing trigger earlier, it stops shooting - not always shooting 3 rounds like in other games. So you can do single shots if you're capable of fine-controlling the trigger.
2. Heavy Machine Gunner and Horzine Technician perks and not parts of ScrN Balance. Those are separate packages that are included in ScrN Brutal KF Bundle.
3. Non-ScrN perks do not work with ScrN Balance. Hence, you cannot use AliensKFPerks.

Hi ScrnPoosh, first of all thank you for this awesome mod. It really balances things out and makes the game much more fun. I wanted to ask you two things: 1. The Heavy Gunner and Horzine Technician seem to be missing. I have the Gunslinger and Combat Medic Perk, but the two above mentioned perks are missing. 2. From where can i get the mutator, with all the custom zeds, as it I don't have it too.

Hi im trying to get the Aliens perks working on SCRN KF game mode, they work just fine on KF game mode (they show along the other perks including HT). I added "CustomPerks=12:AliensKFPerks.USCMMedic" to the BalanceSrv.ini however killingfloor.log outputs this error "ScrnBalance: Unable to load custom perk: 'AliensKFPerks.USCMMedic'.". Am i missing something? As i said the perks work on the original Game mode. :MrFoster:
