One of my all time favourites this one. Got to love belting out of London late at night. Thank you
Ottonome 10 Feb, 2015 @ 12:59pm
Très bon scénario merci beaucoup !
toteman 16 Jun, 2014 @ 3:04pm
Well, I finally got over my fear of driving at night by playing this scenario. Very good. Thank you.
rjholdcroft 8 May, 2014 @ 11:17pm
A good run.
tombyrne 21 Feb, 2014 @ 9:08am
Great scenario you have to be alert for the signal sequences. Thanks
spindrift 22 Dec, 2013 @ 12:22pm
ok, thanks
[MO] Martin 8 Oct, 2013 @ 7:05pm
Nice Scenario, - thanks !!
best regards MO
DPSimulation  [author] 19 Sep, 2013 @ 3:15pm
Thanks. But as the scenario creator, I'm not sure why those points are aimed at me? Completely out of my control.
dstonks 19 Sep, 2013 @ 2:20pm
Very Good, a little stuttery in places and the horn needs to be a bit more realistic.
adambaker47 22 Aug, 2013 @ 7:26am
Great Scenario!
ALEX.J_DE 5 Aug, 2013 @ 1:05pm
Top 1a Scenario, Thanks!
keith.knight37 1 Apr, 2013 @ 11:34am
very good night run
tonyb 27 Jan, 2013 @ 2:17pm
really good, nearly missed the red at reading, GhostEngineer is right, need to slow down a bit. Well done
GhostEngineer 22 Dec, 2012 @ 5:10pm
Nice, though the passengers might not have liked the braking/accellerating while running under caution into Reading. I should have realised from the timetable I didn't need to take it all the way up to 125mph out of London. That would have probably made for a smoother ride.

@RolandBP you do realise the brightness of the game is adjustable in the options ?
kb 11 Dec, 2012 @ 4:44am
Very enjoyable - well done and thanks
basfordboy 4 Dec, 2012 @ 8:56am
A Good Scenario DP Thanks!
RolandBP 16 Nov, 2012 @ 2:28pm
Hi I found the signals as approaching Reading were rather interesting, it added a bit of "Oh migosh, what is going on." Pity it was too dark for my system, except at the well-lit stations.
DPSimulation  [author] 6 Nov, 2012 @ 5:26am
The lights on the locomotive are not designed to light up the track ahead, they are purely there so the train can be seen.
DPSimulation  [author] 31 Oct, 2012 @ 1:44am
Want to bet on that? The scenario is created using the working timetable.
Fairrosamund 30 Oct, 2012 @ 9:29am
This scenario is very simular to the "Chasing Yellows" scenario, the only differance is that this scenario terminates at Didcot and not Reading.I doubt very much in realality that at this time of night the signal controller would allow a slower Paddington to Oxford stopping service to impead a faster running HST service at platform 4 at Reading station!
rjholdcroft 29 Oct, 2012 @ 11:33am
Hard to see on a non-hd screen. But a good run that works :) thanks.
JLD95 13 Oct, 2012 @ 6:44am
Good scenario, thank you
dyrewraith 12 Oct, 2012 @ 1:36pm
Love this scenario, a lot of fun for a night run. Thank you for sharing.
nestoredac 11 Oct, 2012 @ 7:01pm
Muy buena actividad, Gracias por compartirla!!!!!!!

Hi D.P.S.W I guess that is the first time I have driven an HST on the Great Western mainline at night. I have to admit I was quite impressed by the graphics detail, due to me having a high graphics card in my system. I found the run at speed was very realistic and the journey seems to appear a lot faster at night, especially running through the stations at speed. A great scenario and a 10 out of 10 from me. All the best to you all and bye for now. (COLIN.D.) P.S. Here is me hoping that "First Group" does not get the running of the West Coast Mainline though. Byeeeee!
TEXAGON 7 Oct, 2012 @ 12:49pm
Very good scenario indeed !
Gawain 2 Oct, 2012 @ 10:20am
Really gripping ride. First time I've seen the night lighting in all its glory!
ChainChomp2 1 Oct, 2012 @ 9:31pm
Great scenario, much-needed night driving at high speed, flowed nicely, can't argue with the realism!
DPSimulation  [author] 28 Sep, 2012 @ 10:20am
Brian, I actually forgot to add the reason into the scenario pop ups. 1C36 is actually booked to use the relief lines from Reading to Didcot for route knowledge.
JonnyBoy 28 Sep, 2012 @ 9:44am
Really enjoyed this. The intensity of driving at night is really brought home in a realistic way. The scenario is just the right length. Looking forward to doing it again. Thanks for uploading
brian62 28 Sep, 2012 @ 8:35am
Brian62
very absorbing, dark and interesting, but, would a slow syopper really be diagrammed onto the fast line? and why change to didcot down slow? why not use the down fast platform, these aside better by far than i can do.
KC 28 Sep, 2012 @ 7:40am
Well that was a good run, very realistic. Having to use your signals & AWS for what was in front of you. Judging stopping distances was a challenge but makes you realise what it's really like night driving. Well done.
CaseyJones24 26 Sep, 2012 @ 8:37am
Had a few problems yesterday with this loading. Today however, no problem. Enjoyed this
very much. Thank you.
ireallydonthaveanyideas 24 Sep, 2012 @ 4:18pm
Very Realistic!
Agent Peña 24 Sep, 2012 @ 1:44pm
really nice labeling
nevilleoliver 23 Sep, 2012 @ 12:04pm
Well thought out, realistic scenario, Thanks
DPSimulation  [author] 23 Sep, 2012 @ 11:39am
They will have a light, but pretty much like when driving a car, it needs to off in order to see ahead clearly. The light would just cause a reflection on the windscreen.
Olschoolgamer 23 Sep, 2012 @ 10:24am
Groovy, so it isn't my settings.
How do the engineers see in the cab though?
DPSimulation  [author] 23 Sep, 2012 @ 8:37am
It's night, it's meant to be dark. :) Train headlamps in the UK are not designed to light the track ahead, they are there as a means for the train to be seen. Up until the most recent new trains on the network, and subsequent retrofitting of brighter bulbs in some older stock, in most cases there wouldn't even be a reflection of light on the rail.
Olschoolgamer 23 Sep, 2012 @ 7:39am
I liked the run but I found it to be very dark. Do the head lamps not shine out to the tracks? Is there a way to turn on interior lights? I turned the gamma down because the white rail bed was losing detail.
etr401 23 Sep, 2012 @ 3:58am
very nice
