Tried it again and no problems this time, except keyboard commands did not work, "C" for cruise, and I think "G" to change points did not work, but managed manually. This is an intriguing idea, and would certainly make the journey to Plymouth/Penzance a lot smoother and faster, but first the overhead wires need extending. An enjoyable scenario.

Hi. About the pantograph, that is something I can't do anything about as I didn't write the game or create the rolling stock. The pantograph is there but dosen't raise/lower when pressing "P". As for the cruise control have you got the driving mode set to Expert (Gameplay/Driving Model/Expert) as cruise control dosen't work with Simple mode. This should also help with the Throttle percentages.
There should be a RED signal just before you get to Hayes & Harlington which you have to drive through as part of the boffins tests.
If all else fails try "Verifying your game cache files" through steam to see if you have any missing files. I do this on a regular basis when Im writing scenario's. I once had invisible trains (except for the couplers). Verifying the cache cured that problem.

I am confused here. This appears to be an electric train, but I do not see a raised pantograph? The instructions at Paddington are to drive at 40mph using cruise control (C). Pressing C has no effect for me. Also, it says to drive at 83% of throttle, but that notch is not available, but 84% is. Also, continuous green lights, and then all of a sudden a red, and tab gains no response. I gave up at this point.

Ok! Thanks for all the help. 390s are my favorite tilting train since I don't have the ICE 3! Plus it was $9.99 when I got it.

Stewie140 I've sent u a friend request so we can talk direct & I will show/describe what to do. Will be online most of this weekend if thats good for you.
ElectricityMachine 21 Mar, 2013 @ 4:17am
Spar, I have RW_Tools and I need help. Whats the Class 47 DLC that I need required to get this working? Oh and please make sure its in RW_Tools name form!
ElectricityMachine 23 Feb, 2013 @ 4:27am
It looks very complicated and I am saving my money. Any other suggestions?
Sparhawk  [author] 23 Feb, 2013 @ 12:13am
If you google RW_Tools you will find it. Everyone I know with Railworks/TS has this program as its invaluable when writing your own scenario's. If fact I will be using it after this to change some of the rolling stock in my latest scenario.
ElectricityMachine 22 Feb, 2013 @ 1:56pm
Ok! Wheres RW_Tools? Is it the editor?
Sparhawk  [author] 21 Feb, 2013 @ 11:09am
Hi Stewie140 you could use RW_Tools to replace the Class 47 with default loco's. I think RW_Tools is still free to use for the first 21 times.
ElectricityMachine 20 Feb, 2013 @ 4:33am
Can you make another one without the Class 47 DLC needed?

There still seems to be a few glitches with Steam Workshop. Try clicking the "Subscribe" button them clicking the name of the scenario.

only1shadowman 26 Sep, 2012 @ 7:46am
Sparhawk - thats probably why they use the cl43's then (smacks myself over the ehad for being stupid!) :)
Willothewisp 23 Sep, 2012 @ 5:38am
Loaded ok 2nd time, think I had to turn the game off and then back on, really enjoyed it well worth a go. I will have another go later on without a doubt.
Willothewisp 23 Sep, 2012 @ 12:22am
Couldnt load it sadly, problem with the 390?
Sparhawk  [author] 22 Sep, 2012 @ 9:28am
When I started this scenario the intention was to go all the way to Oxford. But as the 390 is an electric train & the electrification of the line only goes as far as Hayes & Harlington I had to cut it short.
only1shadowman 22 Sep, 2012 @ 8:49am
agree with N A R W H A L S in that you could make a scenario that uses the cl390 as a possible replacement for the cl43 sets they currently use, so maybe do a run bettween paddington to the other end of the WML - I thought this scenario was fairly decent, but having done everything to the letter it still said I failed so not sure why.
Steggs 22 Sep, 2012 @ 7:57am
Could of been Oxford to Paddington, But oh well
ChainChomp2 22 Sep, 2012 @ 2:51am
Actually it required the Network Southeast Class 47 which was ~$4.50 but was probably default in previous versions of RW (I started at RW3 TS2012). Overall it was a good scenario but I guess it was my fault leaving Paddington after I came back to bring it to the yard when there was a stop signal (that I was given permission to pass for some reason) and I should have saw the shuttle that would ultimately ram me head on...
Sparhawk  [author] 21 Sep, 2012 @ 8:53am
The scenario uses all default stock as far as I can remember so should work Ok. Might be a problem with TS2013. Will check it out to make sure it IS all default stock.
