The standalone version is getting a major overhaul and content update as well as a price reduction next month. It will be well worth the wait.

why when i try to creat combat server , aliens cant buy upgrade >> only marine can press B buy shotgun .vvvv ??

When press B evolve as Alien >> nothing happen , even when i level up ( againts bot)

some one can fix please ?

If someone commits some patches for the NS2: Combat mod of course I will push a new version out.

However, I really would recommend buying the standalone game, we have been hard at work on it for the last year adding loads of new features.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the bug where some people start out with 20 resources at the start of a match, when others do not? Been running into trouble about that on my sever. Also, is there a way to add a welcome message when people join, since Combat kind of overwrites the Shine MOTD?

This version doesn't have devour - we never managed to get the balance right in this version so we eventually pulled it from the mod version.

In our standalone version, we worked out how to balance it properly and yes, it's one of the abilities in the game.

Any chance of balancing this mod out a bit more?

About 15 mins into every game, the marine team start grenade spamming with grenade launchers and aliens combat this by mass xenociding, it gets unskilled and boring really fast.

Ok... so it looks like the cause of the problems since Friday have been the fact that neither of my gaming computers works properly with the workshop (it always seems to publish an old version of the mod). To try and solve this I've managed to install NS2 on Faultline's build server and publish it from there.

Please can you update from the workshop and let me know if you're still getting issues now?

Big thanks to SamusDroid for fixing some Combat bugs in B263... I've published an updated version to the workshop which should hopefully resolve the following:

- Can't end games, command station stuck at 1%.
- Server errors because of Trains and scoreboard updating.

I don't know if you're working on this bug, but in the latest build the Hive/CC can't be destroyed, it just stays at 1%.

Build 263 causes errors when life forms are killed, server lags and the console is full of errors, i know the support on this mod is pretty much over but damn it, hate it when good mods break due to game updates.

Make sure you don't have any other conflicting mods enabled when you join... The workshop should auto-download the mod when you connect to a combat server.

just to say there is a bug with exo (at least the railgun) which make it with low power and armor when having it with armor/weapon 3

Dual minigun exocuit has max armor of 280. Even though with spending addition point to level 3 armor, it still says 280. Will this bug be fixed?

The server I run has "Xenoswarm" in it (even though I used the mod id for Combat). Even though Xenoswarm is supposed(?) to work as Combat Mod (or did I get that wrong?) when you have co_ map played it makes the server a mix between NS Classic and Xeno/CM (both teams need to have a commander etc). The techtree screen is stuck on-screen as well and you can't close it.
