Description
Talkative Kenshi is a mod aimed to make Kenshi more immersive and lively. Talkative Kenshi uses INTERACTIONS PLUS by NEO as a framework to overhaul Kenshi's ambient dialogue system. Most NPC's will now be intractable with dynamic dialogue and squad members will now speak amongst each other.

What is ambient dialogue? Ambient dialogue is dialogue spoken by NPCs as you pass by them, usually at random and without prompt.

Talkative Kenshi is still just a proof of concept. The current state of TK is a culmination of everything I've learned about the FCS tool over the past year through trial and error. It's not perfect but it's in a state where I'm happy building upon it.

Previously I've released a roadmap for TK, this roadmap was rushed and not well thought out, while most of the concepts are still planned, many others fell to the limitations of FCS. It's very frustrating working on something for 7 hours just to either have to cut it or repurpose it because of the limitations FCS imposes, for this I will not be releasing a roadmap. If you are interested in planned updates and features/ announcements, check the comments, patchnotes or discussions.

@brickhead im unfortunately not knowledgeable in FCS, but im subbing to this thread. if you do end up getting around to making a releasable patch, i would greatly appreciate if you'd notify this thread :) i just had Agnu partake in a conversation with Bo and it made me physically cringe lol

@youthe its more than a bit tedious but its possible to do this for yourself in fcs with a bit of knowledge, i might upload my personal patch for it once i touch it up a bit cuz i did it very lazily.

agnu, ray, and thralled skeletons are the main culprits.

i love this mod, my only complaint with it is that it does not take into account unique characters like Agnu. OP, if you still check this, please update and make an exception for Agnu, he should not be swearing "AIR BREATHER" and other stuff while in combat, either have unique RAAWRs for him or just make the ambient dialogue not apply to him. Thank you. Great mod otherwise.

are skeletons and hivers meant to mention things like blood relatives and or in skeletons case mention things that wouldnt bother them at all since they cant feel things

This mod makes the game much more real. You WOULD be swearing if you were running after someone to kill them. Or getting your limbs cut off. A MUST have mod.

Good concept for a mod but the implementation overrides ALOT if not all vanilla Kenshi dialogue and turns alot of unnamed NPC's such as samurai and holy nation guards into named 'Bombinghams' and 'Hotlongs'. Breaks alot of other vanila stuff as well. After 20 hours of playesting, I had to unsubscribe. Not recommended.

I have no idea what is going on or why this bug was caused, but this mod, for what ever reason, completely deletes the interior of some buildings such as the Stumble Inn right out side of The Hub. I deleted all of my saves and spent a good 4 hours going through my mods list just to find this mod is the cause of it all. LOL
