ID:

Reloading Press: 35001
Gunpowder: 35002

CRAFTING RECIPES:

Reloading Press = 20 Metal sheet + 30 Metal bar + 10 nails + Blowtorch + crafting 3
Fertilizer + 6 metal scrap + Crafting 3 = 1 gunpowder
Fertilizer + 6 metal scrap + Chemical + Crafting 3 = 3 gunpowder
Low cal civIl crate + hammer = 1 gunpowder
Low cal miltary crate + hammer = 1 gunpowder
Low cal ranger crate + hammer = 1 gunpowder
Hi cal military crate + hammer = 1 gunpowder
Hi cal ranger crate + hammer = 1 gunpowder

1 Gunpowder + 5 metal scrap + Ammo Press + Heat = 40 Low Cal Civilian
1 Gunpowder + 8 metal scrap + Ammo Press + Heat = 40 Low Cal Ranger
1 Gunpowder + 8 metal scrap + Ammo Press + Heat = 40 Low Cal Military
1 Gunpowder + 10 metal scrap + Ammo Press + Heat = 20 Hi Cal Civilian
1 Gunpowder + 10 metal scrap + Ammo Press + Heat = 20 Hi Cal Civilian

Currently you can have only 1 bullet in an ammo crate and still able to produce 1 gunpowder instead of the desired a full ammo crate for a gunpowder. Example the recipe will say on a partially filled ammo crate to be like
12/1 Low cal civ + hammer = 1 gunpowder and still produce the gunpowder while removing the whole 12 round ammo crate.
If you have multiple ammo crates, example 3 full ammo crate it'll say
120/1 low cal civ + hammer = 1 gunpowder and produces 1 gunpowder while deducting 40 ammo (or an ammo crate)

Due to how unturned is coded and the game logic that we still haven't figured out, the game considers of taking 1 ammo crate as the object, and not the amount of available bullet like when you refill magazines. So if that crate that's being used to craft have 9 bullet, it'll be consumed for that whole crate deducting only 9 rounds from your whole ammo in the whole inventory since it only physically consume that ammo crate, if its a 40 round filled crate, it will take that whole 40 round of a crate, etc.
If you know how to make the recipe to work on the internal count/content of the ammo crates, do tell us!

This mod is a comission, the crafting recipe was choice of the man who buy it, probably in his server it has some type of backpack that will let you carry all the stuff needed. Since this mod has quite a time, any updated will be updatet by Taxman77 in a different mod

One other issue I've noticed is that its nigh impossible for a player to have all the materials to build the ammo-press in their inventory. I'd say it would work better if you say had to make three objects, and them combine them into the press to make it work. (Powder measure/brass cutter/ram-crimper for example) Or perhaps require smaller amounts of materials, but more variation (ie needing a carjack, metal cans, and a gps to make the item.) Using wire and scrap to make a scale would also be realistic. Similarly, scrapping wheels or batteries to get lead for the bullets would also help keep things balances and grant some verisimilitude.

Hi @Chainsaw.Aardvark In part u are right, but the ammo boxes works by somwe lines that counts the maximum and minimum of bullets inside, i think that working on it or experimenting is a way to make it more realistic, also thanks for the feedback not a lot of people details the problems with the mods ^_^

Oh yea, shotgun ammo. I have to consider about the red gas can part though.

Thank you for the effort you put into this mod.

Unfortunately, seeing an ammunition box as a singular object is an issue that goes beyond Unturned and is a part of the Unity Engine itself. (As I understand, the box is one object with a percent durability, not an actual twenty/forty item stack) This is not the first mod to run afoul this issue - similar problems come when you try to create craft recipes with magazines or fuel cans..

As such, all I can recommend is that you remove the ability to scrap existing boxes/magazines, and only let the players start from scratch.

On a more positive level - you might consider using gunpowder, scrap, and a red fuel can to make shotgun ammunition
