Change in Game Cursor?

Hi all,
I'm just sitting here trying to cook up a new mod idea. Does anyone know if it's possible to mod the in game cursor? I thought it was hard-coded but I've come to learn that the ui editor in GUTS is much more flexible than it first appears.

I wonder if we can sort of "trick" the game into hiding the normal cursor and then make another one appear instead? @doudley I'm looking in your direction here :p Is this just wishful thinking on my part? :D

I'm not sure if this is possible. You tell me if you found out a way.

I have answered a discussion about this before, I suggested to try editing an external file but I have not heard back if it is possible

Ah I see thanks man. I'll have a try when I get the chance too
*Edit* So I just tried swapping in another cursor and it didn't work. Game didn't crash, but nothing changed. Oh well!
