No free routes. The only free one is the Pump Car.

well yes and no.... There are some routes on the workshop for free but at the same time you must have the needed dlc to use them. Your best bet is to go outside the steam content and get 3rd party dlc. A lot of it is freeware. I know uktrainsim has a huge freeware pack for british loco's and RWA has a really nicely done alco s-2

The "Seebergbahn" is a fictional route based on a real live route, and it's for free in the workshop. (Nothing specific required)

Not quite right- Seebergbahn does require the old European and UK Loco's and Assets pack and perhaps the US Loco's and Assets as well. You may already have them since both packs were included with early editions of TS as were Seebergbahn and two other routes now in the Workshop- Hedborough North (GB) and Castle Rock (US). It's been said before but don't buy these packs individually because either or both are included with several older routes- ECML(N) for example includes both and is three quid at the moment (the sale is still on as I type) which is less than either pack on its own!

Hedborough North is the only route of the three I've tried. It's small but crowded with things to do and well worth having IMHO.
