Yes, this is something we are going to improve.
In the next patch players will get a message saying you must restart the game before the mods will work properly, so that will hopefully eliminate some of the confusion.
In the future we will look at finding a way to check when an assets should be loaded, so that we don't have to restart for every mod.
Could you guys turn it that way, that when a Server got mods on the client downloads them automaticly instead of having each client go to workshop and get them manually. ?
Yes, this is something we are going to be looking at. It would definitely make it a lot easier to use mods!
Yeah, this is an unfortunate side-effect of our whole system. We aren't working on it right now, but it's definitely something we want to fix as fast as possible.
