Idea for a wave based tug of war..
I have an idea but I don't know the editor very well so i'm going to suggest it to those that do and see if those that do can help me make it a reality. I'd like it to be a 3 v3 and you would start off with lots of eco around your bases and 10 elite points so you can have w/e elite you have at the start. elite points would generate and you could capture and control elite point generaters along with other ecoo at your base. there would be a massive lane with lots of Eco on both sides that you would have to control and there would be a long dead center to avoid some cheezy ninja capture and would pretty much " no mans land" where a lot of the fighting would take place. So both sides would generate waves of creep and each wave would be on a timer and would gradually increase in difficulty as time progresses and phase progresses. In addition, you could also send extra units in along with the wave of spawning creeps to add increase difficulty and strategic value. on certain waves you can face extra elites that could also give you more elite ponts for killing them the type of elite creep that would spawn depends on the phase and time of the match. I'm uncertain if you can do preset waves of creep or not so If that doesn't work, then maybe you can have you workers create the buildins in a pre-set area and the buildins would automaticaly crank out units and send them down the lane when they were finishg being built. Objective could be to reach to the enemies end of the lane and destory their shield generator. There could be defensive structers and areas to build turrents in no man's land YOu could build workers to help build and repair stuff. This could eather work turn based if you can do a turn based tower game in the map editor or real time tug of war. Please make it happen! I"l help if i can!

any kind of scripting for user made maps is blocked, so this sadly cant be done.

I've had a thought for my next map by doing a hero quest type. By having a series of gates with preplaced enemy AI troops behind each and player hero team activate (destroy) switch to unleash enemy wave behind it then progress into next area to unlock next wave. I'll make some areas that have multiple gates so if players want a bigger challenge they open 2-3 at the same time. Health packs will be spread about capture points to place healing listening posts can act as check points. Vehicle passible restrictions will limit use to basic soldier heroes.

I'm going to see if this is possible to make soon.
