New to Mapmaker

Hey, I'm new to creating maps, and after watching some tutorials, I'm wondering if it is possible to create an annihilation map to have a random mix up of where players could be found. Basically have somewhat of a large map where players can be found *here* or over *there*. I just want to create a map where scouting is important and players aren't necessarily in the same spots all the time.

That is not possible. The only opportunity for scouting is to create symmetrical 3v3 map (like Mortalis, but way bigger) and play on it 1v1 with random positions.

Yeah a massive map 2v2 map with s scale that offers plenty of exploration and base expansion. Plus you could assign a non base 5th & 6th player and physically place their units and use them as map sentries similar to Warcraft 3 and the neutrals. Just divide them to each half. I'm pretty sure you can limit their behavior to stay and hold an area.
