Ah yes, I think the character faces the same direction regardless of the direction of the player start at the moment, I'm afraid. I imagine I could change that if you think it might be useful?

Ok, good news on this front, I've got the player facing the direction of the player start on spawning, and also matching it's orientation. This change won't be live until the next update (but the next devfiles update might be sooner), but anyway, you can position your playerstarts how you want them now, and the players will spawn correctly after the next update. Thanks for the suggestion! I think this will be an improvement that's noticeable to players too.
