Anyone up for playtest?

My judgement is thoroughly clouded on whether or not my horrible creation is playable, because I know too much about it.

I've played it for a bit, and so far it looks to be a good challenge, but at the same time doable if you get around to know where things are. It also has an interesting structure.

So this is what you were working on when you screamed "I've embraced the shadows"?

Well, welcome to the small club!

I suppose that's true for the entirety of Aragami, or any stealth game with 0 random elements in it. You eventually learn pathways, guard timings etc.
Thus the idea behind this one was to make a maze-like structure with minimal wasted space (aka getting rid of tons of bamboo). You can go around in multiple ways, especially if you're observant, and not all of those lead you where you want or even allow going back easily. Sure, there's "the best" path, but you'll have to explore a lot to find it.

It was also an experiment on cutting off unintended paths through ways other than impassable bamboo - some guards and lights are placed to disallow/discourage a route without resorting to impassable terrain.

It's good. I almost got to the VIP target, but still have to figure out how guards move there, or where to kill the guy without alerting anyone.

I actually like the bamboo, it's just... sometimes I'm making something that has no need for it...
