Please Organize the Steam Workshop
Could the devs please organize the steam workshop into catagories like "tracks, cars" etc. It's currently a mess and very frustrating to look through. Thank you.

THIS! Needs to happen sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of workshop and this is one reason. In the short terms we need the following categories I think...

Vehicles
Tracks
Skins
Leagues

Skins and leagues can kind of crossover but ultimately you are left at the uploaders mercy to apply the correct filter. Hopefully, rF2 modders are more mature than those on other workshops.

Edit: Oh, Huds aswell.

Think you need to direct this to steam ?
Manwith Noname 22 Apr, 2017 @ 3:17pm
Nope. Pretty sure S397 control the workshop configuration for categories and tags. You think Steam setup every games workshop?

That's a nice effort but it's not the same as workshop tags / categories.

Can I suggest, where you list the tracks available externally, also list and hyperlink the workshop tracks. People don't necessarily want to subscirbe to all the tracks and the listing you have done in the description is 1000 times more useful than a collection that subscribes to everything.

you dont have to subscribe to all, you have to choose:

-adding them one bye one
-or all tracks (by pack).

and yes, i could link all tracks at the upper list. but the major thinking of doing this was a consistently track rooster to all players to give a proper and easy multiplayer experience.

the advantage of getting tracks out of workshop is, you don`t have a mismatch or download @ every 2nd multiplayer server, cause the tracks are updating by themself.

greets

Yeah, you're right....I was drunk...

It would still be nice so that, for example in the Europe list, someone looking for UK tracks can find them in one list regardless of download location. Also, tracks that have unfamiliar names due to licensing could then be linked via the better known name.

Sucks that the devs. won't organize things. Doesn't look good IMO.

+1 for this. A Studio-397 colelction would be nice.

+1
Tracks
Vehicles
Plugins
Leagues
If there were sections like this, that would be sweet..

++++1. I was about to start a thread myself. In my view S397's stuff should just be default content that can't be uninstalled and the workshop only host to 3rd party mods that are organised as others have said above. It makes no sense to have S397's mods in the workshop when everyone already has it.

I have 11GB in my Cache folder & 39Gb in my Workshop\Content folder full of STATIC files that are just sitting there on the Prime realestate that is my SSD. I very much want to relocate this 50Gb to my data drive. Why is this difficult ??

Being able to search for recently updated content rather than just most recent would also be helpful
