Definitely seems like a community effort, no one's doubting that. If the right people want it badly enough, it'll happen. I was just wondering if it was in the works at all.

Its not in works, but TWI have their own trello board where they have in plans bringing forward content from RO2/RS onto RS2. They do not promise they will do it, but there is clearly a possibility.

Right, I did see a dev (I believe) mention it was possible, but it's been a while since I've checked trello so I haven't seen any post launch content mentioned besides the ANZAC or whatever it was.

What? No one said they would.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but the whole idea of porting RO2 content into RS2 seems really stupid. Why would someone do that? For what purpose? I mean-if you want to play RO2, then go play RO2. If you want to play RS2, play RS2. The two games represent two very different wars-not to mention the passage in time of 20-25 years.

This game doesn't need any content from RO2. Instead, it needs more Vietnam related content-particularly, more maps. This game needs to be fleshed out. There are ALOT more Vietnam War battles and operations that could be represented in this game.

I could see partial content ported over ie say for more VC weapons or for a Korean War Mod, etc. But an entire port would just be a massive pain in the ass.
