How do I add new blocks to a custom faction?
I'm trying to add new blocks, but nothing appears in-game unless I use a pre-existing ID. Do Ids in the 25000 range not work? There are no errors, the new blocks just don't show up anywhere.

So nothing appears to work at all.

The blocks appear in the faction palette, but not in-game. My custom ships using the custom blocks appear in the fleet palette, but the parts do not appear in-game.

Why isn't this working?

Not too sure what the issue is exactly but I recommend that you try not to make the block ids 200-16999. Also dont do an astronomically high id, such as 26000. Anywhere between 18000 or 19000 usually works for me. Keep in mind it could not only be the id, but the way you configured your blocks.lua, are you using the online RWDK[atg.lychnobi.com] or just Notepad to develop the blocks?

Oh I understand the problem now, do you know how to use the ssave command to save your ships to the default ship folder in your mod? Because blocks will only show up in your singleplayer game if your saved ships use it. This prevents OP blocks or test blocks showing up in the default game regardless if you want them to or not.

As I said, my custom blocks are used in a faction ship. Yes, I used ssave to export that ship constructed in sandbox into the appropriate folder, and made sure it actually was the correct folder(it was).
