I think he means Heroes of the West ported over to RS2, as RS2 has some nasty features, which could make game expirience better.

Well I've been trying to port RO2/RS1 over to RS2. I've gotten all the maps, and I'm pretty sure all of the maps work fine... only tested about 6 of them.

Right now my biggiest issue is getting the weapons and factions into the game. I think I might have to rewrite some stuff. RS1's spawns are also giving me issues in the Kismet as the spawns used don't exist in RS2.

Understand it is hard, am just surprised that no one else has done it yet. Had zero UE3 experience before I was porting it and things are going fairly well for someone with no experience. Right now my issue is becoming learning the scripting language (a big one, worse that there is no up to date tutorials for the game itself) and making it compatible with the Workshop.

People havent done it yet, because it has almost zero appeal right now. RO2/RS had their time.
Hell I'm gonna bet people are gonna play the ♥♥♥♥ out of bridges again.
Has nothing to do with expirience honestly, we have much bigger things to care about.

I think it's an interesting idea and the new features, engine, graphics, etc. would be a cool addition.
