Run 8

Hope I'm not going to be tossed in the hoosegow by the forum police for posting a question about a competing product (if it is one). I only recently became aware of the Run 8 simulator. Any comments on running it in single player mode vs. TS2017? It's obviously more complex, but that doesn't bother me.

Im not a cop, but, dosent run8 have a forum,,,just an idea. I myself havent a clue.

train sim or dovetail have already endorsed run8 and follows it as community

I don't see any reason why the OP can't post about another trainsim in regard comparisons, but I've never played RUN8 so I can't offer anything of value - but I know of it. From previous postings it allows one to drive any loco within scenario, something which trainsim does't which is severely limiting for freeroamers. Though RUN8 is modern american diesels so not for me.

I suggest you do the same.
OP came here asking a perfectly reasonable question. All he/she was asking was opinions on gameplay between two train simulators; TS and Run8.

No. For a new player/member you are being quite harsh. I don't want an argument, in fact I was trying to avoid one. @cheepskate hits the nail on the head.
