Only use this if you want to max the chances of only high quality gear to appear.
It is quite balanced in world drop rates and the vendor, gambler, jewelers will only have blue or better.
Lost Spirit Merchant will be affected by this if placed below this mod with many chances of Skulls appearing for sale.

The farming guide still involves being tied to certain playthroughs to get certain items. The running Wild mod is really nice for my purposes.
What actually ended up helping most, though, was the Endless Dungeon mod: it contains extra recipes, including one for making unique socketables. Using the mapworks, I can get the right level ingredients, so for example if I want a Skull of limoany, I get ingredients with an average level of 55, and boom.
I am so glad you found a good solution of mods and methods!
I myself feel that Limony should be more accessible in the original game.
