Mod request: Make savage orcs throw spears/axes instead of shooting bows
It would be more thematic and make more sense lore-wise. any possibility for this? also maybe a small range buff to orc arrer boyz, as they are literally less than useless right now.

Actually savage orc arrer boyz are the savage orc basic in lore ranged unit, so it wouldn't make that much sense to change it.

i know that in official lore they use archers, but it would add more variety and would make sense for them to throw spears/axes.

i dont think there is a suitable animation for it, so it's not possible.

@StrangeAK47: there is the new spear throwing animation from Norsca DLC with the Marauder Hunters and the Dwarves have a axe throwing animation. Maybe those animations could be used with just a re-skin of a Savage Orc Boy on top? I'm not a modder, so I might be talking out of my ass.

It doesn't work like that. Animations (and model parts, for that matter) can only be used by the appropriate skeleton rigs, which means that since there are no Orc throwing units in the game we can't make any because Orcs use different skeletons than Marauders or Dwarfs.
