Is there any secret commands or a hidden menu ingame that allows you to set Tresspass zones and Shop keepers?

I poked around in the game files and had a browse through the Vanilla.txt to see how it works, but there has got to be an easier way than editing .txt files to create custom shops?

I would have thought there would be like a Mod menu or something in build mode that lets you place tresspass or shopkeeper spawn spots similar to the way you place blocks normally.
