Why does the SOMA workshop/cummunity seem so inactive?
The workshop is nearly empty with only 2 pages, and yet Amnesia has had a very active flow of CS on moddb. Why is this?

This might be due to the under-budgeted marketing of the game and the modding tools, even now, don't have the right documentation for beginning modders to easily access it. I had to contact an advanced coder multiple times to figure out how to do something in SOMA's HPL3 that required no skill to do in Amnesia's HPL2.

Simaler low documented games like Left 4 Dead 2 get mods due to their regonisable brand name (Valve, Steam, L4D, TurtleRock). Frictional can only rely on die-hard fans of Amnesia andd people looking to play a horror game on Hallowe'en.
