While there are options to incite factions to break any bonding treaties they have with other factions, not having the option to push factions toward entering into treaties or making peace with other factions is a pretty big letdown.
Using the threat of war as part of a diplomatic offer should be a thing to. I'm surprised that it isn't. Threaten with war would declare war on the other faction engaged in diplomacy if they refuse the diplomatic offer presented to them.
**Edit: I also wish there were diplomatic options for trading items / banners, settlements and armies. Obviously, trading items / banners, armies and settlements would be limited to trading between like factions – or at least limited between factions that can use or occupy the same items / banners, army or settlement in question.
Basically, Dwarves and Greenskins could trade unoccupied settlements with each other or threaten the other with war if they don't forfeit a particular settlement.
Any faction that can confederate with another should also be able to trade armies with each other – Bretonnian factions and Empire factions, for example.
You could trade armies for gold, items, settlements, whatever combination you want.
I totally agree with you, especially for trade settlements, sometimes you got 2/3 city of a region but the 3 is at one of your allie... If you're not stupid, you understand right away that it's badly done and stupid.
