Most likely either a mix up and devs picked up this skin (for the icon) by mistake before they message you or your skin was a back up incase another skin wasnt usable... could be wrong and there's something else but thats what it looks like

Often, teh devs will "prepare" more skins than is necessary, perhaps for a future safe, perhaps because they can't decide and want to look at them in the "final" version before making a decision.

I suppose that's what has happened here. Can't say, but at least this means that OVK is interested in your work. So keep it up :D
