question on animated textures.
so i want to make animated texture. for that i use "texture animation" in material editor. also i want to tile my texture (so it is smaller. Sins i am using material for teleportation grid - i cannot just change uvs on my model (as far as i understand) to change texture) here is an example:

I want the order to be correct, like when its tiled 1x1. (abcdefghi... correct order) but if i tile my texture 2x2 - the right column is all messed up.. any ideas on fixing / solving?

Seems that the animations work by simply transforming the UV coordinates, so the texture wraps around when the first tile is positioned on the right side. I don't think there is any way to do proper frame by frame animations on materials with the current shaders.

Particle systems do support frame animations though, so if you want a teleport grid with some animated effect, it might be possible by making the grid invisible and spawning a particle system on it.
