I Think I Broke Something.
Ho, boy... it was only a matter of time before I broke something in this game again. This time, it concerns my newest level, "Lazuli Labyrinth: Daredevil Mode". Let me start from the beginning: This level is essentially the original, complete version Lazuli Labyrinth, except with no lights, black fog in your face, twisting roads that can spit you out going the wrong direction, and a route that pretty much makes you do the level twice. Here's where my problems started: Copying the level in it's entirety and pasting another version for the second half was easy enough, but everything after that was super weird. I could make other mods and save just fine, but every time I'd exit the Level Tester, the game would momentarily spaz out, then proceed to display the Level Editor HUD (despite the fact that the car was still in my control) and then promptly crash.

"No big deal", I thought to myself. I've done crazy crap like this before, and it's worked out in the end. So, seeing that it was possible to reach the finish line using the roads, I slapped the sucker on the Steam Workshop and waited for the first finishing time to come through. Despite the stage's difficulty, I expected a quick response, seeing as how the Distance community can be scary levels of fast. But, then a day went by... then another... then another... and by the time a full week had passed without a single completion, I figured something was up.

So, can someone provide me with an answer to this conundrum? Have I broken something in the level that makes it uncompleteable, or is it just that infuriating to navigate?

I don't think you made an unfinishable map, just that no one wants to take the time to finish it. Every time I've seen it come up in the workshop mix server, it gets skipped because it's too long, too dark, and a lot of empty spaghetti roads, so not many people are going to want to play it.

afaik a few of backgrounds' nonsense maps still have 0 leaderboard times, right?

Yup, 0 and 6 still haven't been beaten.
