This game seems to be crying out for natives of Spatterjay too.
Could even be a worthwhile consideration for a future DLC series
For those who don't know .... Neil Asher is a UK author of Sci Fi. Some of his races make the Cravers seem better neighbours and his AI 'Minds' take many forms too.

My favourite, and the first book of his that I read was Prador moon.
It's not all about the Sci Fi though as he is a very good writer as well. no one does non gratuitous gore better.
Anyone who has not read him give him a try :)
I've been reading what I call 'plausible' SF since Asimov's robots and have found in Endless Space some fairly well developed sentients. It make all the difference for me to have a Universe populated with creatures that don't stretch my knowledge of reality too much ;)
I was hoping this thread might get some attention from a modder, ... ah well...
