Aircraft mods randomly go missing

I have subscribed and added a couple of airline mods into my game, some of which require additional aircraft mods and so those have also been downloaded, installed. Everything loads and the game works fine ...

Until, at apparently random intervals, it loses some of the aircraft and I get a "Missing Mods Detected" message. I can download the missing aircraft again and everything is back to working OK.

None of the airline mod pages (e.g. Malta and Hawaiian) show any 'pre-requisites' and it is not all the airline's aircraft that go missing so ...

Why does this happen and can it be prevented?

Hi :) That looks like a Aircraft Mod loading problem. Does that happen in one save ? again and again ? Or always in new games ?

Hi, I'm playing just the one save at the moment and it only happens very occasionally. I'm on the exprimental branch and it doesn't happen on updates or in any other obvious situation.

I noticed it actually shows the missing mod numbers, so the next time it happens I might try to check out the folders on my disk and maybe start a new game before re-downloading the missing aircraft to see if there's anything there that might help.

I think that is that small aircraft loading bug. From time to time the game not finds a aircraft mod. (I'm not sure if that is a game bug , or a steam bug) But it can be fixed easy by undsunscribe/subscribe . (because of that it has low priority for the devs, i think)

Ahh, it's a "known issue", OK. Are you saying that it is a 'small bug' or a bug with 'small aircraft'?

This time there were four aircraft missing, including an A330 variant, Boeings 717 and 787.

As you say, easily fixed by redownloading but having had games totally break due to mods being removed it is disconcerting when first encountered.

It is a small bug , i think the devs know that (but not sure) also your old saves should work after unsubscribe/subscribe + download missing mods . But some planes have also id problems then you have also that problem. (not my mods) Maybe you should talk to the devs , but then in the bug discussion

Oh yes, I've not lost any saves yet, I'm lucky that the mods have just been "lost" locally and not actually removed from Steam.
