RMG in Editor

Is there any way to create random maps in the editor? Having played a lot of HoMM back in the day before it all went south. I really would love to create my own maps and make up some challenges from it. I've messed around with the editor, quite a bit, but making an extra large or even large map with underground is.... Tedious to say the least...

If not natively supported, perhaps someone know of a mod that does this?

It's not supported.
Also, it's not something I think a modder could add.

Thanks for replying. Shame... Would have thought it was part of the editor, seeing as it is part of the game... Would've liked the ability to extract the map you're playing from the game to the editor or something along those lines. But I've only dabbled lightly with some C++ so I have absolutely no idea what I am talking about, and I am sure there is a good reason for the omission ;)
I hope they include it in their next game :)
