Quote from lead dev regarding rim mods
rims are made with special animations (via blend shapes) its not simple model and we decided that we will not let it be modded
The problem is there is only a few of us that know how to work with animations and blend shapes correctly, which could lead to alot of issue's if people trying to use plan conversion
Trust me was not easy decision discussion lasted 2 weeks sadly cons out weighed pros not sure why they do it that way any way surely it would be less load to use model than animation
Explains why my game would crash each time tried to overwrite base game rim
