How do you host non-workshop maps?

How do I host this custom map from this website on my server? http://insmaps.com/site/index.php/downloads/maps/coop-maps/download/5-coop-maps/108-badel-coop-v1

With the workshop maps, I just take the file ID and paste it in the subscribed_ids.txt file and it downloads the map on the server and then me and my friends can play but how can we play maps like this? Obviously I need to download it but where do I extract it on the server so that it shows up in map rotation and that I can run it manually through console?

Don't know, but you can try to use the workshop version.

It's not about a specific map, there are many other maps out there that I want to play that are not on the steam workshop. Anyway, thanks for trying.

I know this is old but for future reference, host the map on FastDL compressed using bz2 and also put a copy in Insurgency/Maps on the server. Server will load map from local folder and clients will download from FastDL.

I'm not aware of hosting maps on FastDL, if you could help me out that would be great. Send me a friend request any time.
