I'd imagine this would make a good number of the levels (or maps) go a little wonky. The main character has a certain height, as well as the walls. But the walls also have a thickness at the bottom that is larger than what is at the top. Some walls have a bit of invisible thickness to their front face (or, the side the player can see)... which prevents you from being right next to them. You'd just have to look very closely at some of the stages (as in; comparing one stage to another) to understand what I'm getting at.
You're probably wondering what this has to do with anything... It's just something I've noticed. The point is; this would cause some conflict with making consistent maps that would make sense, and this would change some things in a good number of the already established levels.
This is all just speculation on my part... It's possible it might be part of the problem, or it might not have anything to do with whatever's holding up the release of the Level Editor.
Edit: As an Example: In the 1st Level, go to the back of the house on the left side. Get next to the wall. Now, take a look at the Halloween Level. Go to a back side of the house (either left or right) and get next to the wall where you can only see your character's head. You appear lower in the Halloween Level, whereas in the 1st Level - you can't get behind the wall like you can in the other level. This, unfortunately, is an inconsistency. :-(
yeah im curious too if we will get an update on this. i actually am looking forward to what we can do/see in it.
