Report a translation problem
The way around the issue is to place a smallish stockpile near the area where you have some clearing/building to do. When "building" a stockpile, your laborers do not need to "pick up" the rocks/iron/logs they broke down. As soon as the last thing standing there is "destroyed", the stockpile is built. It then can be used to temporarily stock up what you're getting rid of at the "real" construction site and can be destroyed afterwards if you no longer need it there.
