Have you tried building some kind of luxury-specific storage to see if that help? Are you using other mods that affect storage capacity in any way? Which version of MM8 are you using? The RC3 version?
aha!! I built a luxury warehouse - one of those thin jobbies, and the perfume got transported to there, and from there to the trading post and also gets mentioned in the town inventory now.
Thankyou again Vrayna, I shall have to go up to BL and modify my post now :)
There's definitely something not totally right though. Most "general" barns should be flagged to store everything, including luxuries. The ones from the CC side sould do at least. If the one you built didn't work for luxuries, we need to know which one it was, so that flag can be added to it. ;)
Have built another luxury barn in another map which is well established and with several barns I think, and three trade depots, but again, the perfume did not register anywhere until I put the luxury barn in. :)
I was wrong about my assumption that they'd also go into general storage. So nothing broken there.
As a side note, if you spot more oddities in MM8, please post into the MM8-RC3 bug report thread, or in the MegaMod section of the forum. It's the one we check the most dilligently while hunting down all the stuff that needs fixing in the mod ;)
