when i verify the files it always says that 105 files are missing
heres the crash report
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While running game code: File "game/steam_workshop/bootstrap.rpy", line 14, in script File "game/steam_workshop/bootstrap.rpy", line 19, in <module> WindowsError: [Error 126] The specified module could not be found -- Full Traceback ------------------------------------------------------------ Full traceback: File "game/steam_workshop/bootstrap.rpy", line 14, in script File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Angels with Scaly Wings\renpy\ast.py", line 814, in execute renpy.python.py_exec_bytecode(self.code.bytecode, self.hide, store=self.store) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Angels with Scaly Wings\renpy\python.py", line 1695, in py_exec_bytecode exec bytecode in globals, locals File "game/steam_workshop/bootstrap.rpy", line 19, in <module> File "steam_workshop/steam_config.py", line 48, in has_steam File "steam_workshop/steamhandler.py", line 367, in get_instance File "steam_workshop/steamhandler.py", line 98, in __init__ File "/home/tom/ab/x64lucid-deps/install/lib/python2.7/ctypes/__init__.py", line 365, in __init__ WindowsError: [Error 126] The specified module could not be found Windows-8-6.2.9200 Ren'Py 6.99.12.2.2029 Angels with Scaly Wings 1.07

Check the workshop discussions, seems to be an update to the modtools broke something

Try moving or deleting the workshop folder in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Angels with Scaly Wings\game

The files missing on verification is a known issue, though it doesn't appear to be an issue on many installations. I'll be working on a fix for this as soon as I can work out what's gone wrong in some cases but not others.

If what Jeff mentioned works, you can try that as a temporary fix but the workshop related changes won't work for you.

I tested with someone and I believe this fixes the issue:
Make sure you have the Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows[support.microsoft.com] update installed.

Now download the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015[www.microsoft.com]. Make sure you install the x86 version regardless of if you're on a 64 bit platform.

(repost from another thread about the issue)

I tried to install the update but i have windows 10
so none of them worked for me
is there any other fix?

What is the error you're receiving?
Could you send the traceback? (copyable with the copy to clipboard button)

Please unsubscribe from all your mods (including mods mod) and restart the game. You should now be able to reinstall mods again normally.

If this still doesn't work, please reply and I'll see if there's more I can do for you

I've already done that
Blue  [developer] 6 14 May, 2018 @ 5:31am
Does the game launch when you unsubscribe from all your mods?
HOMEBY9 14 May, 2018 @ 9:06am
It does, but it still loads this error screen instead of the game ;v;
Blue  [developer] 6 14 May, 2018 @ 10:33am
Just to make sure, could you visit this link and click the unsubscribe from all buttion? If you sign out of Steam and then log back in, does that work?
Are you using the Steam version of the modtools or the one from Github?
HOMEBY9 14 May, 2018 @ 10:35am
I'm not subscribed to any mods
I haven't tried logging out and in yet
And I'm pretty sure I uninstalled the GitHub mod tools as well
