Might I also suggest the KOTOR savegame editor ( KSE ) for ♥♥♥♥♥ & giggles..
On addon among many that have to be physically added - that I would recommend:
- "Invisible headgear" mod.
- " TSL Jedi Temple" mod
- No Force Restrictions mod is a must have as it removes the force restriction from armor sets. Always hated how wearing armor meant you couldn't use force lightning, now you can!
- Canonical Jedi Exile. While the Revan book was garbage, it is fun to play as what is perceived to be the real Jedi exile, Meetra Surik. This one is highly recommended.
- TFU Lightsaber Pikes mod. I use this mod to accompany the sith stalker assassins so that they have lightsabers. Makes them deal more damage, and far more intimidating to fight
- Any High Quality Retexture/Replacement mods are a must!
- Sith Holocron Retexture
- Sith Stalker Armor. This mod adds the sith stalker armor as seen from the Force Unleashed DLC character.
- Sith Assassins have Sith Stalker Armor mod - After, and ONLY AFTER, installing the Sith Stalker Armor mod, can you use this. This replaces the basic Sith Assassins with the Sith Stalker, and makes them look mutated and far more intimidating.
- Movement fix for KOTOR and TSL mod. Ever wondered why, when walking both in game and in cutscenes, that you almost seem to run? That's because the updates to the game have kind of broken the animation. This mod fixes that, and works with both games. Highly recommend it! A small change, but one that is very welcome!
- Shadow Visas mod.
- Enhanced Romance with Visas
- Bodies Stay mod. This means bodies with stay and not disappear, until you leave the area and return.
- Coruscant High Resolution Skyboxes. Replaces the textures during the trial cutscene to that of Coruscant as seen from the movies.
- Full Jedi Council mod. This only works if you install it last! This fills the seats of the council with more jedi. I love it!
- Darker Peragus!!!!!!
- Enhanced Enemies - Peragus, but I ONLY copy/paste the override folder! This spawns new droids in new places, adds XP bonuses, and more loot drop. Love this mod!
- Kill Ithorian mod for the Exchange HQ on Telos
- Kill Ralon, the scavenger on dantooine when he sells you a fake holocron
- Kinrath Egg drop. It doesn't work for me, but if it works for you, it gives you a red lightsaber crystal for every egg you bash in the Crystal Caves, just like in the first game.
- Original Two-Piece Undies for female. I like this mod because when Atton says "Nice Outfit" to a female character, it actually works this time. You are a "half-naked jedi," unlike the vanilla version where you have a bedsheet around your body.
- Scruffy Atton. Gives him scruff
- SWTOR HK mod, otherwise the HK-47 retexture mod that gives him green patches is also great
- Nihilus Lord of Hunger retexture mod is great!
- Rotten Darth Sion mod is the best retexture of him IMO
- Halo Energy Sword mod, because I used to be a mega Halo fan (Before 343 Industries destroyed Halo), this mod is acquirable when completing the quest for Zuka on Dxun. Great addition! Looks great!
- Improved Peragus Asteroids, although it may have stopped working for me. IDK
- Toggle Headgear, only on steam. You go to the workbench and can choose to make headgear visible or invisible. Great to have options!
- Either the Return of the Jedi, Revenge of the Sith, or Kreia's Reflection mod. This replaces the floating lightsabers with doppelgangers of Revan, Malak, Sion, Nihilus, or the Jedi Masters. I love each of these. It means that, as Kreia consumes anyone she kills, she can bring them into life and force them to fight for her, against their will.
- SWTOR Loading Screens. Changes the loading screens to that of the ones from SWTOR, looks great!
- Wound in the Force Character Head mod, is one of the best character head retextures out their. The dark side transitions (3 versions to choose from) is horrific! Your character looks completely devoid of life, like a zombie, succumbing to a fate far worse than death itself! If you are looking to play a dark side character, this is AWESOME!
- Prequel Sabers mod
- 3 New Force Crushes, fixed version: This mod can changes the Force Crush so that it kills instantly, effects MULTIPLE targets, or both. It may be overpowered, but it is AWESOME to have.
- Admiral Onasi Reskin
- Droid Enhancement mod. Makes droid weapon arms have unlimited charge, and gives your droid companions extra feats to work with so that they are a little more... not weak.
- Heavy Weapon Feat Restoration Mod. Does as it suggests, restores the Heavy Weapons Proficiency, Focus, and Specialty feats
- Nihilus' Zombies Death
-
- High Quality Blasters, but only if you have the tslpatcher, otherwise it doesn't work.
- Quarterstaff replacement pack is by far one of the most underrated mods! This only works with TSLpatcher, but if you have, get it NOW! This makes all the staffes have unique appearances, and the electro-staff is just AWESOME! Complete the sound effect from Revenge of the Sith of the electro-staves used by the magna-guards.
- Content Pack (for new feats and powers). At first, I was worried that the new feats and powers would be overpowered and break the game, but they are AWESOME! This is a must get for anyone that wants new things to unlock during level up
- Full Force mod is great! New powers, all great! Not as overpowered as you might thing
- High Powered Force Mod. Similar to the Full Force mod, this adds new force powers. I love this moreso than the previous one.
- Force Choke Anyone. This is somewhat unrealistic, and gimmike, but I really like it. Works with TSLPatcher only, as far as I have discovered.
- Extended Jedi Enclave 2.1, but ONLY if you have TSLPatcher. It is utterly broken without it!
- I would say M4-78, but the problem with that mod is that all mods that modify appearance.2da are completely incompatible. Modified armor, character heads, etc. There are a few that work on steam, but any that uses the TSL patcher does not work. This is agrivating.
- A lot of people love the Coruscant Temple mod. I personally don't because it allows you to super easily get every robe, every lightsaber type, lightsaber mod, etc. and makes the game too easy. It's also very unrealistic in the grand scheme of things.
- The "Choose Mira and Hanharr" mod is great, on steam. I believe the steam one is compatible with TSL, but I know the one from nexusmods isn't.
- Dustil Restoration if you have the TSL patcher. Otherwise, it doesn't work
- Non-dead Kreia
- Movie Mandalorians
- New Mandalorian Banners (I always use the traditional mandalorian flags, like from the movies)
- First Bank of Coruscant mod, although it is really unrealistic, breaks the game, and messes with NPC's moving around the streets
- Enhanced Merchants. I've heard this mod is incompatible with TSL as it supposedly messes with droppable loot, but I have not had that experience at all.
- EZ Pazaak, a mod that is only on steam. Just to move things along. Pazaak, while fun, is a pause button for me and I've played the mini-game too much to enjoy it anymore.
- EZ Swoop Races, a mod that is only on steam. I don't like swoop races, but I am a completionist so I always have to do them. This mod makes it easier for me to zoom past it.
- Ebon Hawk History Mod. Very small change. If you go to the computer in on the Ebon Hawk, the room near the Cockpit, it will show you the names and a brief history of all the Ebon Hawk's former owners. A nice little touch!
These are just some of the mods I recommend! Good luck!
