How the heck do you download workshop techs?

It says "subscribe to download", I hit subscribe, and it does nothing. I understand that the tech should be immbedded in the pngs. I'd expect a little save dialog box or something.

Thanks! it worked eventually. I think the game got confused when I subscribed/unsubscribed to the same item 20 times in a row. Once I only subscribed to an item once, it appeared under the steam tab.
