Jointed blocks?

I saw in one of the video's on the TerraTech store page and their were Jointed blocks to sort of make turning/rotating parts within a single tech. Does anyone know what these blocks are and how I can obtain them or where I can find more info on them?

I think they are currently experimental so unless you have r and d test chamber, you wont have acsess to it.

If you have R&D test chamber are they an actual block in the normal survival mode gameplay, or only available in the actual R & D test chamber mode/area.

You cant make them just buy them from trading post and get from missons. I suggest watching Lathland(Lathrix)'s Season 3 episodes. Some are about builds that use exp. blocks.
